Homeland Farm has been owned by 1 single family for the entirety of its 200+ year existence, save 1 single year in the 1960's when the family moved away - but it called them back - or was is their kin who beckoned them to return?  Behind the walls of Homeland Farm there have been generations of birth,  life, and death - by design... afterall, Homeland Farm is "home" and everyone who is a part of this family and this farm embrace the full circle of life - its triumphs and its challenges, equally. With generations of family members leaving their mark on Homeland Farm it would be quite natural to consider some may have remained behind; To watch the farm?  To keep an eye on kinfolk?  It's hard to know why they've remained, but with numous full-body apparition sightings in all areas of the farm, odd happenings, disembodied vocals, strange mists, bright lights, and shadows, the one that is very clear - the spirits are quite happy to remain "home" at Homeland Farm. Danielle gives you insight into the disaster behind the curtain of "public appearance" of a team from New Hampshire she once belonged to. In addition, she also shares an all-too-common experience of THEFT - victimized by the leader of the NEW ENGLAND based Paranormal Organization we've reported on in numerous "Fraud in Paranormal" podcasts prior to this one.  Team Leaders stealing from team members.  Does it get any more pathetic?  

On this episode of Maine Ghost Hunters Presents: Fraud in Paranormal - we invite Shawn Thomas, founder of the  Massachusetts Paranormal Research Society, to chat with us about his experiences with fraud within the field of paranormal.  His team had only been around for, about a year, and he had already had 2 concerning experiences with paranormal investigators most reputable organizations would consider major concerns within the field of paranormal - particularly considering how much time any given team may spend in private client locations. MGH Team Lead, Tony, clarified our intentions quite directly during this episode: "… we want to make it very clear, through this series, that we are here to build public awareness of what could be going on out there, and what is going on out there in the paranormal community, and, so people can just have that foresight, and the knowledge that they need so they can make a good decision as to, not only what teams to allow into their homes and businesses to perform investigations, but also, people who are interested in getting involved in the paranormal community as investigators, what teams are credible teams, and how to understand whether they're credible or not. And learn more about those teams before you get involved with them."

Ever been stiffed by someone after you did a job for them, put the goods or services in their possession, to which they continue to possess after you walk away - and then had them simply decide your hard work wasn't worth them keeping their end of the bargain by paying you?   Some might call this "dirty", we call it Fraud.    Chad Ashworth is a Graphics Artist and fellow paranormal investigator who had this very thing happen to him after he was victimized by the leader of a NEW ENGLAND based paranormal investigation organization.  We use the word "victimized" because it would seem, from our past podcasts which feature other victims of this organization leader, that her victim base has quite a reach.  Listen as Chad tells us his experience with this organization leader, and how he's just another one of the many who have been manipulated into a situation that's neither right, nor fair.
