April 18th, 2012: Caravan of Thieves - "Raise The Dead" "Raise the Dead" seems so fitting in light of recent music news. Implying reincarnation as holograms, perhaps? The Connecticut quartet has their gypsy-swinging The Funhouse available now on United for Opportunity Records. Download
April 17th, 2012: Ketamines - "Teenage Rebellion Time" Another Canadian band! They're doing something right up there. If Ketamines pop-psychedelia sound with the likes of early Pink Floyd doesn't grab your attention, I don't know what would. Their debut EP Line By Line is out now on Hozac. Download
April 16th, 2012: Moonface - "Teary Eyes and Bloody Lips" Moonface (also known as Spencer Krug) released the killer Dreamland EP: Marimba and Shit-Drums in 2010 that we all loved around the station. We groove again to his first full-length Organ Music not Vibraphone like I'd Hoped. (He must have a knack for titling albums as descriptions of its sound straightforwardly.) The album is out tomorrow on Jagjaguwar. Download

April 10th, 2012: Yppah - "D. Song feat. Anomie Belle" Ahhh, reverb and shoegaze: a quintessential combination in the modern indie world, yet Yppah (pronounced Yippah) was tapping his toes to the likes of echos (no literal ironic intentions here) since 2004 in Houston, TX. Jose Luis Corrales Jr. was ahead of the times, and has returned with the release of Eighty-One out on Ninja Tune Records. Download
