What does this mean – a special diet or a diabetic diet or a cardiac diet?  As a dietitian, I hear that all of the time in hospitals and in the outpatient setting. So you ask, what is the healthy diet menu for you plan?  It is a set of 7 meals that is provided on a weekly basis.  We have meal plans for heart healthy diets, renal diets, renal / diabetic combination diets, gestational diabetic diets and 3 different calorie levels of a diabetic diet for you to choose from.  The weekly plan includes recipes for an entrée and side dishes, with the ingredients, nutrition and instructions for the meal.  You get an itemized grocery list as well, so you print it and go to the grocery store to buy what you need for the week. It’s a subscription meal plan – you pay for the right to access the menus for as long as you need – monthly, weekly or yearly – which allows you to download menus every week that are in an easy to read and use format.  You stop the subscription when you want.  And if you are unhappy, we refund your unused portion of the subscription because we know it’s a great program and want you to love it! Many people ask me why I developed this concept.  Why not?  I greatly enjoy creating these meals knowing it will help you.  It was a great moment when I realized that I could easily solve the problems and issues a lot of my patients and friends had using my knowledge and experience.  You need a grocery list, you need recipes and you want it to be easy.  I get it and I did that for you. You can get it right and on the right track for your diabetic, cardiac or renal diet meal plan. How can it help you? If you are a dietitian or doctor, this can really help you get your patients off to a good start and keep them on track.  They can take your information on diet and amounts to eat, and print the menus to get started.  Once they have your plan, implementation using this plan is so easy!  And it can be a bridge for them to get their meals and lab values under control. If you are a patient, what better way then to learn as you go! You get professional level advice and planning without the need to go into the office every day. And you can keep track of what you eat and like and know how well you are doing.  You have the information to make wiser choices and guide yourself with portion control and delicious recipes for the process of learning.  And the recipes go great for all the family. Who is it for? Who should subscribe? This plan is for patients with a new diagnosis or just tired of eating the same things for their health. The plan has beef, poultry, pork and vegetarian meals to meet everyone’s needs. And it makes a great family meal as well, so every one can eat the same food. If your patients need help, give them the information and let them get started! We will send you some brochures to use in your office for referrals.
