TALKING HEADS

This episode is with the stand-up comedian Al Murray. Al Murray has had a varied career but he’s mostly known for his character “The Pub Landlord.” The interview went really smoothly and was held just before one of his shows back in May 2011. The camera work was done by me and the sound by Chris Smyth.

This episode is with the singer and songwriter Chesney Hawkes. Chesney is well known for his number one single “The One and Only.” I met him through his uncle Pete Perry. The interview is quite short as Chesney had to get back to setting up for his show. The sound quality can be a bit funny due to the band practicing in the background, but other than that, the interview came out pretty well. I personally did the camera work and the sound was recorded by Katie Brookes.

This episode is with the stand-up comedian, transvestite, metalhead, amateur occultist and a musician; Andrew O'Neill. I managed to catch an interview on the last show of his tour. The interview was filmed just at the end of his tour “Occultist Comedian” at the Leicester Square Theatre. The camera work was performed by Sam Roberts, and the sound was recorded by me.

This episode is with the iconic British Comedian Richard Herring. His most memorable work includes Fist of Fun, Talking Cock and his latest work; Hitler Moustache. I first met Richard after one of his AIOTM shows to discuss a live filming of his podcast, which you can now buy on www.gofasterstripe.com. He’s very co-operative, great to work with and very insightful, even when talking about penises. Camera work was performed by Mary Lee, and the sound was recorded, by me, despite being a little wobbly.

This episode is with the writer, actor and environmentalist; Pete Perry.  I first met Pete at an audition for my final university movie, “Student Watch” which is an attempt at comedy based around Student Life. Pete has an amazing amount of energy and is so full of life. He says this is due to being with his wife Nikki. They age gap between the two of them is quite a big one, but you’ll struggle to find a couple that’s happier together than they are. Camera work was performed by myself, and the sound was recorded, funnily enough, by my dad, Chris Smyth.
