The fall out from the release of the Nike Air Foamposite One "Galaxy" sneakers, has spurred a plethora of articles written in newspapers, blogs, and the release was even covered by CNN! (This add more fuel to the fire for the sneakers!) In a missive penned by Matt Halfhill of Nice Kicks, "Sneakerheads are NOT What the Media Has Depicted", stating to media outlets that what took place at the Florida Mall in Orlando, FL is not indicative of what the culture is and, more importantly, the types of people that make up the culture that is about sharing stories and news about leather and rubber.
