Visibility 9-11 show

Visibility 9-11Join Now to Follow

This podcast explores the many facets of the 9-11 attacks which contradict the governments official story, the massive cover-up which is currently underway, the failure of the mainstream media in America to ask real questions, and the aftermath of 9-11 including the un-Constitutional wars and the taking of liberty here at home. This broadcast examines the big picture of what is taking place in America today and how September 11th fits into the scheme of things. Forget "conspiracy theory"! The governments own story about what happened is itself a "conspiracy theory"! We want 9-11 Truth.

The Hindi Urdu Flagship at the University of Texas at Austin has the fortune of regularly hosting well-known Hindi-Urdu scholars and artists. In addition, HUF faculty and contacts often cross paths with notables in the Hindi-Urdu world while travelling nationally or visiting South Asia. The HUF team makes a conscious effort to steal some time during each of these visits in order to record the artist's or scholar's thoughts on their work, various aspects of Hindi-Urdu, and the world of language in general. The hope is to capture a wide variety of native speakers in 'full-flow' and to a catch glimpse of the various intellectual and artistic worlds which use Hindi-Urdu as their medium. Produced by the Hindi Urdu Flagship at The University of Texas at Austin. Visit hindiurduflagship.org/resources for more Hindi-Urdu learning materials.

Mafraj Radio show

Mafraj RadioJoin Now to Follow

This podcast covers contemporary political, social, and cultural affairs in Yemen and the Yemeni diaspora from a range of sources and perspectives. Our aim is to make Yemen accessible to casual listeners who don’t necessarily have a background in Yemen or Middle East studies, while still providing a level of depth and context you can’t get from mainstream media coverage of Yemen. In Yemeni Arabic, the word “mafraj” refers to a characteristic feature of highland Yemeni architecture, which is renowned for its unique beauty. A mafraj is a room, preferably with windows on all sides, on the very top of multi-story house. The mafraj is where Yemenis gather in the afternoons and evenings with family and friends to discuss the events of the day and the gossip of the nation. Like a good mafraj, this podcast aims to be a site for discussion, debate, and edification, and a vantage point from which we look at events in Yemen from different angles.
