Summary: VOTER FORUM: CENTRAL VALLEY: 1ST HOUR. Congressional District 10 in California is in the frontlines in the battle for the nation’s Congress, and a well-known astronaut and Democratic candidate José Hernández is a lead figure in this battle. Hernández could become the first Latino to represent the Central Valley in the U.S. Congress. In the second of a series of town hall meetings, Línea Abierta will hold a live, 2-hour forum in Modesto. Voters will be able to comment on questions such as: What are the main issues in their community? What is their opinion on the current performance of the U.S. Congress? How motivated are they about the elections in their district? Political battles at the state level, including critical propositions on the November ballot will be part of the discussion.
