Show notes: • There is a difference between talking about God and speaking His word. • “When I pray to God, I talk to Him. When I read the Bible, God talks to me” • The word of God is more than revelation, It is an open door to a relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ • Read the scriptures until they become real you. John 1:1, 2, 14 NASB 1. In the Beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2. He was in the beginning with God. 14. And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 5:39 KJV Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. John 5:39 NIV You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very scriptures that testify about Me, Luke 24:27 NASB And beginning with Moses and with all the prophets, He explained to them the things concerning Himself in all the scriptures. Take Away: The Scriptures are more than a history of Jews and Christians. It is full of wonderful stories, parables and mysteries to be reveled by the Holy Spirit to those that hunger to know the truth.
