Summary: Binge Eating Disorder AKA BED is far more common and destructive than many people realise. It is often minimised or unnoticed but can have a massively negative effect on the sufferer. This episode is not intended to diagnose or take the place of qualified treatment. Binge eating is more than occasionally over eating, binge eating disorder can be distressing, out of control and cause significant psychological distress. Binge Eating is classified as +Eating unusually large amounts of food in a specific amount of time, such as over a two-hour period. +Feeling that your eating behavior is out of control. +Eating even when you're full or not hungry. +Eating rapidly during binge episodes. +Eating until you're uncomfortably full. +Frequently eating alone or in secret.
