The following are the original show notes from that episode… I hear daily about how our leaders have failed us. From the latest Obama memes on facebook to the fear and loathing of a republican congress and I just sigh. Yes all of Americas problems are from 435 Representatives, 100 Senators, 1 President and his cabinet. We get no blame ourselves at all. Well, wait there are plenty of others to blame, the people on welfare, the liberals or conservatives depending on who we are, the illegal immigrants, the talking heads and the reality TV morons, it is there fault too! In other words as Homer Simpson puts it below! “This is everybody’s fault by mine”. This really is how people think, I have seen it over the years. For instance in 2012 I remember a report that people who had been bailed out of their mortgage problems and then ended up behind a second time were polled as to how responsible they were for their financial problems. Over 85% said they bore little to no responsibility for their issues. Said people were attacked on facebook and mocked, etc. Classic dichotomy, classic class warfare and most people fell for it. This report didn’t show that underwater home owners were irresponsible, no it showed that WE AS AMERICANS are irresponsible. Today we take a hard look at individual leadership and how to regain it in a nation that has lost its mind.
