He was inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame in 1967. In 1999,Henry was the winner of the Car Entrepreneur of the Century award. In the same year, Henry was named as one of 18 in Gallup’s List of Widely Admired People of the 20th Century, based on a poll conducted in America. In 1981, the Ford Motor Company introduced the Henry Ford Technology Award, to recognise exceptional technological contributions made by employees to the company.
