When work is complete in late 2016, the attraction will include a new film, Soarin’ Around the World, as well as an additional theater. The new film will feature an aerial tour of the globe above some of the world’s most iconic landmarks on every continent. Soarin’ will also get updates to its screens and projection system, bringing a visually enhanced experience. The attraction is expect to remain open during most of this work, although some sources say a 6 month closure is possible<br> <br> <br> <br> Glen’s Trip Report<br> 4:20am shuttle bus to airport<br> I forgot the double stroller!!!<br> Kids fell asleep on Magical Express—couldn’t get them to wake up when we got to Contemporary, LOL!<br> BLT–beautiful, clean, and spacious….and we LOVED being a short walk from MK<br> All my planning and research really helped me maximize our trip, but it’s a double-edged sword–so many in my party couldn’t or wouldn’t go commando, so it became frustrating for all<br> 4-yr-old AJ and I are commandos…the rest of our group, not so much—he and I did every ride in Epcot except Ellen…the others did Spaceship Earth only<br> Turtle Talk–legitimately funny for adults and kids<br> Met Mickey and Goofy<br> Very hot first 3 days<br> Day 1:<br> Very first people to arrive at MK—still dark out; just us and the security guards<br> Alden screamed through the Morning Show at MK<br> The kids love the rides—Peter Pan, Pooh, Enchanted Tales, Buzz, Pirates, Haunted Mansion<br> Gaston’s Tavern–cinnamon bun and LeFou’s Brew were great<br> Be Our Guest lunch–tasty but I’d only do there again at dinner<br> Day 2:<br> Hollywood &amp; Vine character breakfast—kids were star-struck<br> Jedi Academy–incredible<br> First Time In Forever Sing-along—historians are hilarious, especially Eric<br> Extra magic—6 unattached FPs to Epcot!!<br> Parents watch the elder 2 kids, but Sarah won’t leave the baby<br> Epcot F&amp;W Festival—tasty and fun<br> Disney Nerds/Mouseketeer podcast meetup—neat<br> Day 3:<br> Jock Lindsey’s Hangar bar–outstanding food and impeccable theming<br> Disney Springs–gorgeous!<br> Ft Wilderness and Trail’s End—lovely change of pace, literally<br> 2 AM Magic Kingdom—unforgettable (12 rides in 4 hours, including 7 coasters)<br> Day 4:<br> Mine Train—AJ’s “favorite ride”<br> Pirate’s League–great fun getting into character<br> Kid’s Night Out—amazing service<br> Dinner at Kona Café–so so for the price, but Polynesian resort was so gorgeous we want to stay there next time<br> Day 5:<br> The real benefit of BLT is revealed—squeezed in 2 quick trips to MK between naps<br> Nap room at Contemporary at no charge<br> <br> <br> <br> This show is really a community of Disney World Enthusiasts<br> Brand new closed Facebook group.  Friend me on facebook and ask to join.<br> Blab for live recording<br> You too can be a guest on our show.<br>
