Summary: At the very basic level, food is energy and nutrients. It is what keeps our bodies functioning and growing. That is a pretty simple way of viewing food, but it is accurate.<br> But how do we treat food? Like it is a bandage, our counselor, our security blanket, and proof of our respect and love for others. Worse, we teach our children those same bad habits.
