During Michael's first episode, he shared 10 ways to generate more blog traffic. I went through his list and explained how you could apply these items to generating more exposure for your audio podcast. When The Right People Notice Many of you will recognize the following quote that I often share from Jason Fried's book "REWORK." That last part says "You have to do it for a LONG TIME before the RIGHT PEOPLE notice. After about 4 years into building my brand, people like Dan Miller began to take notice of my brand and began to tell others about me and the products and services that I offer. Michael is another example of one of those "right people" that noticed! He has one of the most popular blogs in the eyes of those who are within my direct target audience. Michael has well over 188 THOUSAND subscribers to his blog! Tom called in to ask how we, as podcasters, can be sure that we'll be able to consistently bring a steady flow of valuable content to our audience. Free RSS to Email Solution Debra called in because she noticed that Feedburner seems to have dropped its "subscribe via email" option. She wanted to know if there were another free solution to allow folks to subscribe to her rss feed via email. I shared that she could check out MailChimp's RSS to Email Service.
