Summary: TweetCJ is a 48 yr old female has been living off grid in Vermont for 20 years. While it took her 14 yrs to convince her husband to have chicks- the gateway animal they are now full on homesteaders with a large assortment of livestock. CJ sold all of her stocks in early 2008 and bought livestock with some of the proceeds (got a brief mention in WSJ about this in fall ’08). She joins us today to discuss why it took so long to convince your husband to let her have chicken and the results since then. We also discuss their other livestock and some funny stories that have resulted from being an owern of livestock.
