Summary: TweetToday we are joined by a listener we will simply call Karen. Karen is a self described Diva from Philadelphia who came to prepping after a move to rurual New York state. This move combined with debt and some trials with raising a child with serious medical condition woke her up to living a better life. Her husband isn’t exactly fully on board with the prepper lifestyle specifically the debt freedom portion of it but Karen is slowly winning him over to the side of personal freedom. With pure determination they will pay off the majority of over 37,000 dollars of debt in 2013. Additionally she has a funny though somewhat scary story about why she is not working on getting her concealed carry permit, which is somewhat difficult in New York. There are a few places where the audio cuts out a bit on this interview.
