Summary: Keith Hinderlie, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist and educator with over 20 years of experience working with adults, youth and families in a variety of settings. His professional background includes a unique combination of knowledge about, psychology, personal development, education, leadership, and cultural diversity. Dr. Hinderlie's experience includes providing psychological services in community mental health centers and in private practice. He has held positions as graduate school faculty, independent school faculty and administration. He has served on the board of non-Profit community based agencies, and has served as President of the Denver/Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Association of Black Psychologists. Dr. Hinderlie holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Boston College. Prior to moving to the metro DC area, he ran a successful independent psychotherapy practice in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Dr. Hinderlie has extensive experience working with African American youth, multiracial children, and adopted children. Dr. Hinderlie is the Consulting Psychologist and Director of Mental Health at the SEED School of Washington DC. Dr. Hinderlie has presented workshops on the social and emotional experiences of children for schools around the country.
