Posterous Is Shutting Down I found out from Mashable that Posterous will be shutting down this April. Posterous is a blogging platform (and more) that had millions of users. However, Twitter purchased the company last year and recently announced that as of April 30th, 2013, they will completely shut down the service and the blogs created by the millions of users will no longer be available to view or edit. This is yet another reason why I feel that it is important that folks consider creating their own self-hosted WordPress website.
