A podcast about surviving motherhood, one laugh at a time.

Welcome, mama – we’re so glad you’re here!  We’re Lauren and Sarah – long time besties and co-hosts of The Mom Voice.  We’ve each been married for 10+ years and have  7 children between us (including a set of twins!).

Based in Arizona, we produce our show each week with fresh, relatable, family-friendly content.   We know that motherhood can bring lonely days – so we’re here to make you smile and inspire you with fun parenting tips.   We rarely script our episodes,  talk a mile a minute and sometimes share unpopular opinions, but all in good fun!

So, buckle up, tune in and come hang with us – we promise you’ll enjoy the ride!  Available for free wherever you listen to podcasts.

About Us

We’re Sarah and Lauren, co-hosts of The Mom Voice and two regular moms  trying to figure it all out!   We’re wildly different personalities but share a very similar approach to parenting.  Sarah is very logical about life while Lauren takes a more spontaneous approach.  We joke that our recording sessions are our weekly therapy sessions – where we can just sit and share all the things happening in our lives.  Listeners have told us over-and-over that our show is “relatable”, “fun” and that they feel like they’re “sitting in the room with us”.

Subscribe wherever you listen to join us for our weekly mom-hang.  We’re committed to keeping it real and reminding you about the joys of motherhood!

What you’ll hear on the show

The Mom Voice is a free for all where we sit down and share our raw, honest and relatable experiences throughout our days spent as “mom”.   Episodes are conversational in nature where we cover a little bit of it all!  From relationship talk to celebrity gossip and TV chat – this is our time to just decompress and touch base on what’s happening on that given day.  We also welcome guests on the show to share professional tips and insights that we think our audience will benefit from.

Parenting

We share all the real moments of motherhood and details on how we parent our children.  While our parenting styles differ a bit we both appreciate a mindful approach that you’ll hear sprinkled throughout every episode.  We wrap most episodes with our HIT & MISS segment (aka our mom-win and mom-fail of the week!). We’re still learning and striving to become the best mothers we can be – so tune in to hear what’s worked for us and what hasn’t!

The Daily

As mom, we know that every single day brings a new challenge or surprise.  Whether it’s sick kids, issues at work or overcoming a developmental challenge – we run it all down here.  You’ll also hear things we’re doing in our homes to make life run a little smoother and some of the daily juggles that we’re dealing with.  We know the laundry never quits and dinner can be a chore but we try to have fun with it and remind the listener to find joy in the journey!

Health & Wellness

We love our Diet Coke y’all and our listeners can probably tell when we’re extra caffeinated!  We also live for delicious food, eating out and enjoying our treats.  But on the flip side of that you’ll hear the constant struggle it is for us to keep our diet in check and live a healthier lifestyle (for real though – why is it so hard?!).  We’re those friends who are always trying new health trends – both food and exercise and we love sharing the realness of our experiences with the audience.

Keeping the Balance

You’ll hear us share all about how we try to juggle the responsibilities of motherhood, our relationships, friendships and well, life!  We try hard not to let work or the schedules run our lives and believe in the power of friendships (especially during this crazy season of our lives!).  We believe in the motto work hard, play hard – and you’ll hear what we’re doing on the daily to serve both of those purposes.  We also share lots of self care tips and remind the mamas that they have to fill their tanks before they can effectively serve others.

TV Talk & Current Events

OK, we admit it – we love our celebrity gossip and keeping up on all the current events.  We sort of live for those couple of hours we get of “me-time” at the end of the day to watch our shows and decompress (I mean, who doesn’t?!).  We love chatting about all the hot topics, latest trends and what’s in the media.  Sure, we may be a little politically incorrect at times – but aren’t we all?!  The listener can always trust that we’re committed to sharing our truths and how we’re viewing the world on that given day.

Relationships

At the core of our lives are our sweet husbands, Jeremy and George.  You’ll hear about the ups and downs of marriage, what we do to keep the love alive and episodes focused on enriching your relationship.  Life is so busy – especially when you have kids – it takes a lot of effort to ensure your relationship stays strong.  We believe in protecting your marriage and actively making it a priority.  Listen along as we share our honest takes on love, what we’re working on and pro-tips to keep growing together!
