Are You a Bad Enough Dude to Turn Into a Vampire? World History According to Ancient Aliens Part 1 | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 01:07:09

Howdy Misfits! This week Steve gives you the run down on everything you need to know about Vampires. Yup, we googled “how to become a vampire” so you don’t have to during your next midlife crisis. Basically, just be a bad b*tch, talk to yourself, or have a third nipple. All the cool kids are doing it. Then Steve talks about Ludwig the Blood Sucker, a Vampire from NYC who may in fact have just been a drunk little person who likes to bite people. Next, Emmy takes us through the wild world according to Ancient Aliens — all you need to know is every prominent figure (from Satan to the Virgin Mary, Buddha, and George Washington) were either aliens or influenced by aliens. Pretty nifty, huh? Source.  If you want to hear more from Steve and Emmy, remember to tune in every Thursday for more mind-blowing and hysterical content.  Why Your Mom Might be a Vampire; Featuring Guest Dr. Emily Zarka from PBS Monstrum | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 01:27:46

This week we are joined by a very special misfit: Dr. Emily Zarka, the monster expert from PBS Monstrum! Dr. Z chats with Steve and Emmy about the folklore and origins of monsters, her love of the Vermont Lake Monsters baseball team, her favorite cryptids, and so much more. In fact, she and Steve have both seen a Jackalope — coincidence? Next, Emmy does a deep dive into one of the monsters we learned about during our conversation with Dr. Z, the Manananggal. She’s a badass blood sucking half-woman and half-bat, who just happens to lose the bottom half of her body each day at dusk. Talk about a rough night! Steve rounds out our strange-being-centered convo by telling the story of the McGuire Space Alien — basically, some dude panicked and shot an alien on an airplane tarmac, but the ET was never seen again. Spooky!  If you want to hear more from Steve and Emmy, remember to tune in every Thursday for more mind-blowing and hysterical content.  Welcome to the Freak Show: Real Horrors of the Circus, Clowns and More | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 01:07:42

Hey Misfits, get ready, because this episode is a bit ~spooky~. Emmy had nightmares for about 3 nights after recording her segment on killer clowns. You may know about the most infamous clowns like John Wayne Gacy, but have you heard about the Killer Clowns from Outer Space? How about the college campus killer clowns, or the mysterious love triangle of a husband’s scorned clown lover? Afterward, you’ll hear Steve chat through some freaky freak show performers, from Jo Jo the Dog Faced Boy to the Fiji Mermaid, and so much more. You’ll also hear about the crew’s personal experiences with freak shows, like Emmy’s trip to see the very underwhelming “World’s Smallest Horse”.  If you want to hear more from Steve and Emmy, remember to tune in every Thursday for more mind-blowing and hysterical content.  A Squonking to Remember: Bigfoot Kills 10 at Applebee's and Steve's House is Haunted | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 01:09:08

Happy April Fool's Day, Misfits! Steve and Emmy have a wild journey of an episode for you tonight. Before we dive in, Steve tells us that his creepy attic bedroom might actually be haunted by two ghosts; and Emmy has been afraid of the dark ever since. Then, Steve tells us some wild just-released Bigfoot and Jersey Devil Attack News, one of which took place in Emmy's favorite restaurant of all time: Applebee's. Emmy keeps us on the topic of cryptids with the story of the Squonk, a creature so ugly it dissolves into a puddle of tears every time someone looks at it. Sounds like me in middle school. Don't feel too bad for the Squonk though, because we're pretty sure he's still in line with the rules of White Boy Summer (WBS) outlined by Chet Hanks -- you have to listen to make sure you are too. Lastly, Steve caps us off with a topical discussion of the history of April fools day, and some pranks that just went totally wrong. Watch out, this April 1; Emmy might just put Vaseline on all of your door handles.  If you want to hear more from Steve and Emmy, remember to tune in every Thursday for more mind-blowing and hysterical content.  A Virgin Kraken, a Drunk Snake-Throwing Bigfoot, and Rob Gronkowski Walk into a Podcast | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 01:12:09

Hey Misfits — Be careful, Steve and Emmy each had a BEER while recording, so this episode contains some hot takes. First, Steve tells us some crazy Cryptid stories — like the time Bigfoot threw a snake at a woman’s car (spoiler alert, that’s the whole story). Then, Emmy covers the legend of the Kraken, which Steve and Emmy discover is somewhere between the size of a football field and a school bus, but we’re not really sure. Then, things get steamy as Steve reads the review of his new favorite book — “A Gronking to Remember”, a football-themed erotica novel that has more nuance and class than you could ever imagine. You know the author from her more popular books, “I don't care if my best friend's mom is a Sasquatch, she's hot and I'm taking a shower with her” or "I don't care if my sasquatch lover says the world is exploding, she's hot but I play bass and there is nothing hotter right now than rap rock"— so clearly her Gronk book is one you don’t want to miss.  Whats the Deal with Cursed Triangles? The Bermuda and Bennington Triangles, UFO news, and murder | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 01:04:58

What shape are you most afraid of? Rhombus, sphere, octagon? For Steve and Emmy, it’s gotta be the triangle. This episode, Steve talks about the infamous Bermuda Triangle, including the region’s most famous disappearances. Then, Emmy takes us through the less-known but still super spooky Bennington Triangle, located in Bennington, Vermont — this place has Bigfoot, UFOs, murder, you name it. This episode, you’ll also hear about how Emmy’s friend somehow lost 13 chickens on an island overnight, how photographs work (spoiler alert: Steve and Emmy have no idea), the strange UFO news of the week, and so much more.  Do you know what’s real? Time travel, false memories and cryptids ft. They’re Terrified and Tipsy | File Type: audio/x-m4a | Duration: 01:35:00

Howdy Moosfits! Or is it Misfits? This week’s episode will have you questioning what’s real and what’s not! First, Emmy takes us through the age old question: are the writers of the Simpsons time travelers, or just really f*cking smart? Then, we play the “guess the cryptid” game with the lovely ladies from “They're Terrified and Tipsy Podcast”, where we all have trouble naming the difference between a cryptids other strange creatures like Pokémon, dinosaurs, mops.....(?) Then, Steve discusses the Mandela effect and our collective false memories — from celebrity deaths to “kit-kats” and the “Berinstein bears”. Oh, and Steve also takes us through his *real* Pokémon tier list — and Emmy doesn’t necessarily agree with all of his choices.  If you want to hear more from Steve and Emmy, remember to tune in every Thursday for more mind-blowing and hysterical content. This episode Steve and Emmy chat with the legendary Campbell McLaren, the mastermind behind the UFC, Combate Americas, Collegehumor, and pretty much anything else violent and/or funny. Campbell tells us about his dream fight (Jesus vs. Mohamed and/or Santa), dives into why the Comedy Store may not actually be haunted, and reveals how he really feels about big names he’s worked with in comedy, like Joe Rogan and Larry David. Aside from this great interview, you can hear the most scathing restaurant review of all time from Emmy — and then Steve wraps us up with a run-down on the Jersey Devil. Turns out he’s only got one hand? Oh, and Steve and Emmy launch their idea for a Margaritaville themed podcast. No sponsorship from the restaurant chain, yet.. but ball’s in your court Margritaville. First off, Steve tells us about his very first UFO experience (or should we say UO experience: we’re not sure if it was actually flying). Then, Emmy dives straight into ~ Dr. Love ~, who is, in fact, not a porn star but rather the infamous 17 year-old boy who somehow conned his way into being a successful, albeit very much illegitimate, medical doctor. Next, Steve takes us on a wild ride with some Inuit folklore. Moral of the story? Don’t hang out around Arctic waters, or you might get snatched up by a disturbing “tickle monster”. Finally, we finish off the episode with Episode 9 of Kid Nation, where there are some SERIOUS divisions within the Town.
