We are faced with comparisons on a constant basis. “That looks better than what I have.” This is a deception that divides and is deadly to relationships. Show notes: • We are faced with comparisons daily. • We are tempted by comparisons. • We have to come back to real life. • We have to see through the deception. • It is all about loving one another. • Take the victory over that situation. • God’s grace over our mistakes comes with forgiveness. • Relationships have to have God at the base of that relationship. References: Genesis 1:5, 6 5. For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil. 6. Are we going to obey? When the Nature of Christ is worked us, it is no longer a thought as we have the mind of Christ. Show notes: • The Golden Calf was built out of disobedience. • Moses hit the rock out of disobedience. • The importance of what God is doing in each of us, is finding Him in one another. • I am finding it easier to obey God because I know you. • Start wherever you are at. • The ending point is the nature of Christ worked in you. • We are talking about metamorphosis from a worm to a butterfly. We are entering into a new time of pursuing Him, following Him, to know Him where He is. Faith, willingness and initiative are important to knowing Him and His will for us. Show notes: A new level of willingness to pursue, follow, and to know Him. We are entering into a new relationship with God. Initiative is a trigger as He cannot steer a parked car. You will hear and see as much of God as you are willing to do His will. We are being trained to know the voice of Lord. Everyday exercise your spirit towards the Lord. References: 2 Corinthians 5:17 17. Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Revelations 21:5 5. And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” Isaiah 43:19 19. “Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it? I will even make ta roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert. Jeremiah 31:22 22. “How long will you go here and there, O faithless daughter? For the Lord has created a new thing in the earth. Since He is the pattern Son, then that means there will be others after that pattern. Show notes: • We must come to know the humanity of Jesus Christ. • He was the pattern Son so that we could be just like Him. • He had to live through all of what we experience as humans or it would have been useless for Him to die on the cross.
