Wednesday. Humpday. Or as the enlightened know it, New Comic Book day. A day where battles rage, adventures begin, and the news in new. That’s right Fireside faithful, midweek is upon us once more, and your favorite harmonious host are back. Mendte, Maurer, and P Underscore Features reunite once more to bring you the happenings from around the ComicSphere. Starting with the return of our favorite purple tattered green giant, and an awesome new app for collectors. Sure Halloween seems like it was over forever and a day ago... but that wasn’t the case when we recorded this Issue. That’s right Firesiders, Halloween is still very much in the now here at Fireside studios. And what better way then to celebrate the best on screen costumes of you favorite comic book heroes. Mendte, Maurer, and Features are joined by Ian (Shucky) and the quad squad talk best on screen versions of the Flash, Thor, Joker and more. Things have become very dicey here lately. Gun fire is normal background noise, walkers are feasting on the Sanctuary and Morgan has gone 007 on us. Ian looks on from behind a passage way as Morgan nails head shot after head shot. While Mendte peers through a keyhole to discover a lack luster throwback to season one. Yawn. Keith Thomas is a true inspiration to anyone who has met him. With his cheshire smile and a comedic timing that rivals the best stand ups, he always lit up any conversation he was a part of. Keith was an amazing story teller with many projects under his belt. Each one had a special place in his heart and he never shied away from discussing them. Telling the stories behind the stories was the equivalent to pulling a picture of his kid from his wallet. This pride was infectious and never off putting. This was all because at any moment Keith was willing to stop what he was doing just to listen to anything his friends wanted to talk about. Whether it be a project they were working on or a movie they recently watched. Nothing was too big or too small of a topic. None of this compares to the support and wisdom he shared with those privileged enough to call him a friend. Keith’s pride and passion for his own work pales in comparison to that he had of his friends. His would do anything he could to promote, advise, or support. These are just a few reasons that were are proud to have Keith as part of the Fireside Family. This week we lost Keith to an aggressive battle with cancer. It only seemed fitting that we take this time to celebrate him and post some of our favorite moments he shared with us in lieu of a new issue.

Language alert again Firesiders! CJ is still here and using language Cap wouldn't appreciate. Todays topic is all about the life and times of CJ Draden. Whats tour life like? Whats is traveling the world, going to different, Cons like? And most importantly, how was New York Comic Con (we ask with just a hint of jealousy)?
