Welcome back Fireside Faithful! Whether this is your first time, or you’re sick of us… but can’t get enough of that sweet, sweet, new news, we are happy you are here. Mr. Maurer is out (doing god knows what), so filling his seat is the one and only Felix Hergood of the Emergent Gamer Podcast. Join by Mendte, and Features, the three talk about everything from Warhammer to Spider-Verse, from Ghost Rider to Batwoman. Oh… and I’m not sure if you know but… *Features clears throat* SPIDER-MAN IS BACK IN THE MCU (For a little while longer anyways). Greeting and Salutations! The movie hasn’t come out yet Firesiders, but Joker is already smiling at the PR poostorm surrounding this film. We have mentioned it a couple times over the last few weeks, but today we want to talk about Joker. Some what of a breakdown, but more about the surrounding controversy this movie is up against. Join Mendte, Mr. Maurer, and Features as they talk about the origins of one of the most infamous literary villains of all time. After we break down some of the issues people have with a movie like Joker, as well as the toll this roll has had on Joaquin Phoenix, and the actors before him. We are back Firesiders! Scream it from Mount Olympus and wake the Eternals, the gang is back! After last week’s issue, its nice to be at 100% with a little bit of that sweet, sweet, new news. Let’s start with an apology Fireside Faithful. We never want to miss a show completely and we are sorry for that. We also don’t like to just throw a show together, so I guess you deserve another apology because thats what you are getting today. Maurer is still MIA from his last illness spat, and Features isn’t available in the back half of the week. They say the show must go on so Mendte and Baby Huey got together and tried to give you all something worthy of your ears. Its debatable if they pulled it off. Join the two tired and beaten remaining crew members as they talk Batman, Conan, Star Wars, Doctor Strange, Titans, Watchmen, Hawkeye, Suicide Squad, and more… all while slowly decending into madness. Happy Saturday Firesiders! Let’s kick things off the right way by continuing our breakdown on the new Disney+ MCU characters. After Moon Knight, there was a clear winner for 2nd place that’s both Savage and Sensational, Jennifer Walters, A.K.A. She-Hulk. Join Mendte and Mr. Maurer as they get you caught up on all things relating to the Jade Giantess. From her origin, to her powers and abilities, to how she is not just a Hulk rip off. Kate talks about her comic beginnings, writing for several comic site, the books that showed her the light, and general Librarian Kate awesomeness.
