(Podcast) - It is hard and being honest there are times that I want to quit.  I want to encourage you to not look at your progress as the only sign of momentum.  Practice realizing that even the smallest steps are progress.  Sometimes you will be up against time divine interruptions.  Don't let those interruptions stop or persuade you to give up.  Press through because you will find that all of the interruptions to your grind are a part of His divine plan for you.

(Podcast) Part 4 of 4, This discussion of parenting with biological and step-parents talks about the nature of the desire of children always trends toward the biological parent, whether they are in the child’s life or not. The needs of the child outweigh the needs of the parent and step-parents need to become clear about this. There needs to be an understanding that this isn't personal with the kids. It’s just a fact of life.

Christopher & Kathryn share on the barriers that had to be broken in order to develop a relationship with our children. In the life of a step-parent the biological parents play a key role in integration. Kathryn shares how she had to learn the kids and each of their responses as they grew up but Christopher shares on how that knowledge was overwhelming and intimidating to overcome. The problems that occurred in our relationship needed to be worked out.

Step-parenting is a skill that requires a lot of patience and wisdom.  You have to be self-aware about your pain, learn about your spouses pain, and then learn about your children's pain.  Learning to recognize this will help you heal your family and bring them together.

(Podcast) Working Together - Part 1 of 4.  It is vitally important for your family to work together.  Christopher & Kathryn share their experiences with blending their family as they collaborate on parenting.  Kathryn shares what happens and the changes that occur as Christopher steps into their world.  We share some of the barriers that had to be removed before we could experience the integration of 5 separate lives into one complete unit.  We learned and we grew.

Grief is not an easy thing to process.  Many people need the support of friends and loved ones to help them cope with grief.  Toby Mac's song for his son is causing many people to find healing.  There is no correct way to grieve.  There is no time limit for grief.  Grief is something that has to be healed from God.  Allow your friends family and loved ones the space that they need to go through this process.  You can help them by being there.  Be there, listen, love, care.  Be there.

Sometimes you have to be self-aware enough to know that you really don't want to keep going.  If your honest you will have moments in the time where you don't want to.  But... you can't stay there.  You can't look at what's going on.  You need to keep pushing and keep struggling.  It's about being consistent.  The more consistent you are, the more you will have fruit.

Step-parents are a special breed of people.   Here are some tools to put in your tool chest with your children.  Employ empathy, try to imagine how they feel and react based upon that, quick taking what they do personally, many times they are in conflict and you are the innocent victim of their internal turmoil.  Sow love into them.  Sow into them that you are their "safe place".  Use your spouse's intuitive knowledge about who they are.

(Podcast) Well, the harassment of President Trump continues. The Senate is moving forward with the prosecution and impeachment hearings for President Trump. Que Sera, Sera. Nothing is going to change the mind of the American People. That doesn't mean that the media farce will not continue. I was reading some articles today, catching up on the impeachment trial and just had to shake my head at the "carefully" word news articles. You will get a kick out of some of these titles.

We had a powerful demonstration of God's love. He moved in mass deliverance and set many people free from demons of hate. The Lord impressed upon Pastor Barbara to have exorcism team at the altar cast out demons of hate. It was a moving service as many were healed and set free. Exorcisms are for today. Jesus cast out spirits and we have power and authority to do so today. Don't be unbelieving but believe.

Day 21 of the new you. Grinding is hard but it's fun. It's been a while since I posted about working because I been working and executing. One thing remains true, you have to be consistent and self-aware about your inconsistency. This will help you push yourself to achieve the goals you have set. You need recognize the negative people around you and limit their access time in your life. The only one that can stop you is you. To the victor goes the grind...

Just some quick thoughts on Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and how he thought America was great. If Rev. Dr. King thought we were great, how come President Trump isn't allowed to say "Make America Great" or "Keep America Great"? Food for thought.

I want to bring a some of the brilliance that this man of God displayed in one of his speeches. This speech occurred after President Kennedy was assassinated. So, when I was reading this speech it really highlighted to me how brilliant MLK Jr. was. He was not just the figure head of a movement. This speech was given on February 5, 1964 at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. It was titled, “The American Dream”

Christopher & Kathryn discuss the recent release of "Star Wars" and some possible prophetic interpolations. Their is an epic battle between light and darkness. This battle is synthesized through the attack on the family. This attack started by getting men in sin, when the men got into sin, the women and children were open to attack.
