Just in time for halloween we bring our final episode in our three part series over breasts! We close out with our own personal surgical consult with Michelle, PA-C. Michelle is a Certified PA who has trained and worked with top rated breast and general surgeons, oncologists, radiologists and pathologists. She helps break down what exactly happens after you get the mammogram, how to read a pathology report and what even are the differences between all these genes and things we test for so we can all better educate and prepare our patients for a surgical consult! Epsiode 7 is the second episode in our three part series on the breast for Breast Cancer Awareness Month! This episode we are talking all things BENIGN that occur in breasts and help you to confidently assess and educate your patient with a breast complaint. We cover things including fibroadenomas, fibrocystic breast disease, mastalgia, infectious diseases of the breast and nipples!! Remember not everything always appears as it seems, and we help you keep that differential wide and break down the most common things that go bump in the breast!
