Thoughts on Feeling Inadequate (Podcast 428) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 44:45

One of the most common struggles every mom deals with is feeling inadequate. It happens frequently and can become overwhelming. When we feel this way, it’s easy to grasp the first “comfort” we can find without actually drilling down further and finding our answers in God’s word. This will be an ongoing battle unless we stand firmly on the truth God has for us. I recently had a mom reach out to me with some thoughts and an excellent question that I think is important for us to take a few minutes to think through and then, as always, go to the scriptures for our direction.   Are we gossiping about our kids when we talk negatively about them?    Resources mentioned in this episode: Subscribe to my monthly email and receive a free digital download of Encouraging a Homeschooling Heart ctcmath.com  The Unhurried Homeschooler Unhurried Grace for a Mom’s Heart The Four-Hour School Day The Unhurried Homeschooler Mentoring Course Places I am speaking in 2023 Classical Conversations James 1:26 1 Corin. 10:13 Jeremiah 17:9 Psalm 139:23,24 James 3: 1-12 James 1:5-8 (P.S.  My Favorite High School Science Resource (Podcast 419) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 45:40

I’m really excited to share our family’s favorite high school science resource! Science is not my forte, so high school science felt particularly intimidating to me.  What I Have Learned About Autism So Far (Podcast 418) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 50:14

Many of you know that our youngest son was diagnosed with Autism last fall. I knew since he was very young that he was likely on the spectrum, but he continued to progress in his development so we never had him evaluated. Some significant changes happened in him about a year ago which led us to finally seek a diagnosis.  Today I am sharing our journey with you along with some things I have learned over the last year that you may find helpful if you have a child that may be on the spectrum, have one on the spectrum, or know someone with a child on the spectrum, or want to learn more so you can have a better understanding.  Resources mentioned in this episode: ctcmath.com  The Unhurried Homeschooler Unhurried Grace for a Mom’s Heart The Four-Hour School Day Subscribe to my monthly email and receive a free digital download of Encouraging a Homeschooling Heart Places I am speaking in 2023 Classical Conversations Please note that the products and links to health products I have mentioned in the podcast and here are simply things that have helped us.  Finding Biblical Clarity in a Secular Culture (Podcast 416) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 35:08

As mainstream culture grows more hostile toward the Bible’s truths and those who embrace them, Christians will face mounting pressures from family, friends, media, academia, and government to change and even abandon their beliefs. However, these challenges also create abundant opportunities to stand strong for Christ and shine a light to those hurt by the darkness of our day.  Resources mentioned in this episode: Subscribe to my monthly email and receive a free digital download of Encouraging a Homeschooling Heart ctcmath.com  The Unhurried Homeschooler Unhurried Grace for a Mom’s Heart The Four-Hour School Day The Unhurried Homeschooler Mentoring Course Places I am speaking in 2023 Classical Conversations Ways to connect with Natasha: Faithfully Different (Natasha's latest book) Natasha Crain Podcast Unshaken Faith Podcast with Alisa Childers (P.S.
