Summary: An actual play podcast of high adventure, low dice rolls and intermediate levels of terrible puns in which five old friends imagine ourselves to be dynamic and exciting heroes in a game of Dungeon World. Crudely Drawn Swords is a long-term campaign following a team of heroic(?) adventurers as they follow a quest that will take them through strange lands, across dangerous seas and on perilous journeys through unknown regions. A gentle stroll through the nocturnal streets of Farmouth has been interrupted by a crossbow bolt and our heroes set off in hot pursuit of the would-be assassin. Our heroes are back home in Farmouth, but it seems that those familiar streets are not as safe as they used to be. Percy moves up in the world, Bambari sucks on a scab, Tristan demonstrates the art of disguise and Enigma may be lion about something as our second adventure begins...

Night has come and with it a deadly foe. In the epic conclusion to our first adventure, Tristan and Percy face an enemy that exceeds them in every respect, Enigma shows a natural talent for dressage and Bambari uses a powerful magic item. Some friends will be parted, others reunited , but the Black Gate casts a long shadow and the ice does not give up willingly.

Defending Windrush pass against seemingly insurmountable odds, Percival and his squad are getting along like a house on fire, whilst Tristan's attempts to achieve victory through horror and revulsion have somewhat more mixed results.

The party's bid for escape continues, but their efficiency is somewhat compromised by the fact that Bambari has given Tristan more hallucinogenic mushrooms than health and safety guidelines recommend and now they face another challenge as they approach the border fortifications.
