Summary: Hi, I am Josh Forti, and I firmly believe that you can do, have, and accomplish anything you want in life. It has nothing to do with where you grew up, the color of your skin, or how much money you have. It has everything to do with the mentality you have, the questions you ask, and permission you give yourself. Things that aren’t being discussed in politics, talked about on the news or taught in the school system. Questions that may be “politically incorrect”, taboo, or out of the norm. Those are things that truly put you ahead in life. Growing up blue collar middle class, I was confused a lot. I started questioning things like “why are so many people unhappy?”, “why am I still struggling to get ahead, even though I did what I was ‘supposed to do’’, “is this it? Is this all life is about?” and seeking out answers to those questions. I discovered a whole new reality of what’s possible, simply by thinking different and changing the way I viewed everything. I was blessed to discover this at a young age, and create a reality that has taken me on a journey across the world that I couldn’t have ever imagined. My goal with this podcast is to take you on a similar journey and help you discover what is possible. I believe that anyone, anywhere, at any moment, is just one consistent set of actions away from a totally changed life… and that starts with a mentality shift. In this episode, I just share the struggles of my mind on a daily basis with you. I'm going to explain to you why I struggle with the current form of capitalism even though I believe it is the best system. I talk about how I am trying to change society with love and understanding, but also trying to figure out how to do that when so many people disagree. I share truly what is on my mind on a daily basis, and I give a plea to love more, see the other side and use business/money as a means to an end, not the other way round.
In this episode, I'm going to share my story of feeling unworthy to make money. I'm going to talk to you about my struggles with it, how I overcame it, and more importantly, I teach you HOW a belief is created (with emotions and experiences) and how to REWIRE your brain and create NEW beliefs (through perspective and emotions). Once I understood this, I was able to turn the limiting beliefs about money (and so many other things) off, and get what I wanted.
In this episode, we are going to talk about how every day you have to make a choice. We are all human, we all struggle with the same things, we all have feelings of self-doubt, unworthiness, disappointment, anger, frustration. We all have things that DON'T go our way.
In this episode, I am going to explain how you can cure "Shiny Object Syndrome". I talk about why it is absolutely crucial to commit to something, why you MUST believe in your ability to figure stuff out, and you have to be willing to be bad at something for long enough to be good at something.
In this episode, I am going to dive into a common misconception around the connection between being mean and making money. I'm going to show you how you DON'T have to be a jerk to make money.
I'm dedicating this episode to my brother Kyle Forti. I'm going to tell the story of when I got the phone call, how I reacted, and why it is okay to be angry, sad, mad, and show emotions. I'm going to open up and tell the story of who my brother was as a person, the aspects of his life that we can all learn from and dedicate the podcast time him.
