The Cincinnati Reds did not get the best outings from Hunter Greene or Graham Ashcraft which largely doomed them against the Chicago Cubs. Jeff is joined by Sam Olbur from Locked On Cubs as they look at the talented young Cubs outfield, led by Christopher Morel, and the fireballing pitchers of the Reds. The Cubs scored runs in bunches off Greene and Ashcraft as Nico Hoerner and Wilson Contreras had good performances. Joey Votto and Nick Senzel seem to be turning a corner and could lead this lineup that is struggling in key situations for the Reds. The Cubs and Reds path forward seems similarly murky, though the Reds have more core pieces in place.
