Stephanie is a cross stitch designer, author, and all around creative using her platform to push the cross stitch community. When she didn’t see the types of cross stitch designs she wanted to stitch, Stephanie decided to make them herself.

Ashlee started out in the world of selling her hand knit garments and over the years has looked for ways to pivot her business into something more sustainable. The new and exciting things Ashlee has going on in her business are sure to inspire the creative in all of us.

Jessica is a natural perfumer who dug in deep within her community and elevated her business at the same time. As a teacher it is all about learning about the landscape of natural perfumes while letting go of perfection.

With only 7 months under her belt, Alexis has created a brand with striking photos, inspiring patterns and fabrics, and resources for sewists. Alexis shares more about what it has been like to change her brand and determine what her new vision is for her business and brand.

Sara of Constellation & Co is celebrating 10 years of her business this year and shared so much of what her life is like as a maker, what it has been like having a creative business, and some exciting plans for the future.

Treasure hit a low point in her life and instead of giving up she decided to stretch her creativity and go back to school. What could have been a career in fashion design turned into a custom leather bag company.

Chelsea has a journey to her current maker field that is like none other. With a degree in Fashion Design she discovered/rediscovered a love of miniature scaled food from her childhood and pivoted her creative life to that of polymer clay miniatures.

Melissa is the powerhouse behind the Espadrille kits that have taken the maker world by storm. But Melissa is involved with so much more than just espadrilles. She is a sewing teacher, blogger, and all around amazing business owner.

Having been blogging for 10 years, Lindsay shares how her business has changed and evolved over the years, but also how the blogging community has changed. As a DIY creative Lindsay has her hands in so many different craft genres it helps keep from burning out.

With retirement from the Air Force on the horizon, Tammy decided to start D & H Fabrics Co as a possible full time job upon retirement in October. What started as a love of quality fabrics, has turned into a business where Tammy is able to surround herself with other makers and create a sense of community through in person meet ups and online interactions.

Find ways to be creative in your life regardless of whether they turn out as good as you think they will. It may be freeing for some or terrifying for others, but is a great exercise in being creative for all makers.
