Some of us get caught up in trying to do meditation right when we first begin meditating. The number one mistake I see people make is making themselves wrong. Wrong for having thoughts, wrong for buying into the thoughts, wrong from fidgeting... In this meditation I would like to invite you to practice in a self loving and self accepting way. We will be practicing allowing ourselves and everything to be just as it is as we gently begin to quiet the mind.
This episode is a shamanic drumming journey. For the majority of the episode Megan Adair will be playing her drum so that you can journey into your inner imagination and retrieve whatever messages your subconscious mind would like to share with you. Shamanic journeying is yet another tool we can use to tap in and tune in to our own inner wisdom and guidance.
Your self concept is the most powerful habit of thought you have. Every time you think about yourself you are reinforcing your conditioned thoughts feelings and behaviors. Each time you intentionally rehearse and imagine the you of your dreams you are contributing to a new habit of you. With repetition you will become whomever you imagine yourself to be.
