In one of my favorite interviews of all time, I chatted with Ben Higgens through the computer just like we were old friends. He had the flu, so his voice is a little raspy, but it totally worked for him. He talked about his life after the Bachelor, his new flame, Jessica, turning 30, his businesses and humanitarian work. She served on the Meridian City Counsel for a term before that, so at the end of this year, she will have served the City of Meridian for 20 years! She is absolutely incredible to work with and it is clear to anyone who knows her that she cares so much for the people in her community. She strives to make Meridian, Idaho a wonderful place to live, work and recreate. In this episode, Tammy talks about her experiences as Mayor and the implementation of Do the Right Day. Do the Right Day started when there where concerns about bullying and suicide and so Do the Right Day was implemented to remind people to be kind and do something nice for the person to their right. Today, I'm chatting with Elyse Dehlbom from Colton Underwood's season of the Bachelor. She was the lone red head who went on the best one-on-one date to the theme park with all of Colton's Legacy kids. She later left the show on her own after feeling like she couldn't say yes to an engagement after such a short period of dating. We discuss how she felt getting selected for the season, what it was like in the house with all of those women and why she left so early. She also gives us some insight into a few things we didn't already know about Colton. She is a make up artist in Phoenix, Arizona and is just as curious as the rest of us to see how everything plays out for Colton this season.
