St. Luke’s University Health Network spans 10 hospitals and 300 sites across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In 2019, St. Luke’s deployed M365 and Teams, which helped them rapidly collaborate, stay on top of the latest COVID-19 treatment protocols, and help experts from pulmonary, ICU and other disciplines refine treatment protocols to reduce intubations by 50%. There was also a rapid shift to Virtual Rounding and Virtual Visits putting specialists in frequent contact with patients while conserving PPE.

Hendrick Motorsports is a leader in the NASCAR Cup Series, earning a record 12-car owner championships in NASCAR’s premier division. A long-time Microsoft 365 customer, Hendrick Motorsports relied on Microsoft Teams during the pandemic to quickly move to remote work, which allowed track production teams, engineers, crew and athletes to remain focused on winning.

For 111 years, Danish multinational pharmaceutical company LEO Pharma has been innovating new products and solutions to help people achieve healthier skin. In 2019, LEO Pharma purchased Microsoft 365 with plans to deploy in companywide. When the COVID-19 pandemic created an urgent need they went all in, rolling out Teams from only 33 users to more than 6,000 users in the whole organization in just four days to help employees adapt and keep innovating through a crisis.

Sysco is one of the world’s leaders in selling, marketing, and distributing food and other supplies to restaurants, schools, hospitals, entertainment venues and the like. When COVID-19 altered the way people enjoy meals away from home, Sysco pivoted to new ways of doing business at a moment’s notice. With the help of Microsoft 365—and Microsoft Teams—Sysco brought its global workforce together to keep delivering great food to restaurants, healthcare facilities, schools, and lodging establishments.

CVP for Microsoft 365, Jared Spataro, talks with Tony’s Chocolonely, a Dutch confectionery company that is passionate about fair trade practices and ending slavery in the chocolate industry. Tony’s Chocolonely turned to Microsoft Teams to keep working reaching out to employees and farmers. The company also used Teams to find ways to give back, gifting over two hundred thousand chocolate bars to “chocofans” affected by the pandemic.

Headquartered in Washington state, Premera Blue Cross provides innovative wellness and prevention, disease management, and patient safety programs for approximately 2 million people. To stay on top of evolving healthcare trends, Premera needed to modernize an 83-year-old workplace culture and employees had begun adopting Microsoft 365 virtual collaboration tools when COVID-19 triggered a pivot to remote work.  Jared Spataro talks with JT Perry, VP of Business Transformation at Premera Blue Cross.

AEG, one of the world’s leading sports and live entertainment companies, had to shift focus to remote work and cultivate new business in the midst of change. They were able to close a multi-million-dollar sponsorship deal using Teams. So, when the time comes, fans can once again enjoy the legendary entertainment for which AEG is known.

Royal DSM is a global, purpose-led, science-based company active in Nutrition, Health and Sustainable Living. With more than 23,000 employees in 50 countries, they had to quickly respond to the pandemic and pivot to remote work over a weekend. With the help of Teams, DSM was able to maintain business continuity, and even switched factory lines to produce a new disinfectant. And to continue to aid to Firstline Workers, they started a joint venture to make personal protective equipment.
