What Google Chrome Extensions Do You Use on your Computer | Ep. #80 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 15:13

Google Chrome Extensions What Google Chrome Extensions Do You Use? Today I will give you a quick overview of what Google Chrome Extensions I use on my day to day operations. As an Amazon seller, I have a ton of Amazon Google Chrome Extensions, so I will not go through all of them, only the most used or the most relevant. In alphabetical order: Adblock for Youtube™ – this is an extension that will allow me to watch Youtube videos without ads. I often get targeted by Tai Lopez, Russell Brunssen, Tim Ferris and most of all from Alex Becker AMZFire Review to Order – This is (I think ) the only working extension to tell you who left you a review on Amazon. I use this often to see who left me a bad review and try to contact them to fix their problem and hopefully get them to change their mind, without asking them. AMZfire Search Terms on Steroids – The perfect extension to track your backend keywords on the Amazon seller account while creating listings. It tracks the number of characters used since we are limited to 250 characters on the backend keywords. It also tracks if you are using repeated keywords on the title and backends, and bullet points and backend Be Limitless – An extension that tracks the amount of time I spend on each site and on each page, also keeps track of goals. Dux-Soup for LinkedIn – I have this LinkedIn extension disabled and I don’t recommend it to anyone Facebook Pixel Helper – A must have for any online advertiser. This will tell you every site in the world if they have a Facebook pixel tracker installed, and what they are tracking on each page. I also use this one to make sure my own pixels are installed properly and working Grammarly for Chrome – The Lifesaver. This is the extension that corrects all my grammar mistakes ( It actually already fixed 16 errors so far in this text) Jungle Scout Pro – This is a paid tool that most if not all Amazon Sellers need or use. This will tell me how many sells every product has per month on Amazon, the fees, the size and weight Keepa – Amazon Price Tracker – The tool to use on Amazon to tell me the price history of each product and for how long it’s being sold KW Index Checker – Just like the name says, this is a tool I use to see how many keywords are indexed on Amazon listing, and if they are not indexed  for some reason, I will change the position LastPass: Free Password Manager – A great password manager that you can use to allow other into your accounts without giving them the password for each account The Great Suspender – Something I recommend to every single person who uses a laptop or computer to work. This extension will suspend every resource you are not using so you can use the full potential of the laptop TubeBuddy for YouTube –  A great tool for youtubers or for the person that wants to post a random video on Youtube and be on the top of the search results. This will tell you how easy it is to index for each keyword you want, and it even recommends new keywords, tags and tells you what you need to do to get to the top

How To Find Customers For Social Media Marketing Agency (SMMA)? - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 7:10

How do you find customers for your social media marketing agency (SMMA)? I bet if you search youtube you will find hundreds of videos of people explaining how they get their clients for digital marketing agencies. But, I feel like there are a few ways that nobody talks about. The reason nobody talks about these is that either they don’t know about them, or because they don’t want you to know about them. One way is to contact big marketing agencies and ask for their “scraps”! Yes, I know this doesn’t sound right but, as you know, the big marketing agency pick and choose who they want to deal with. That is called “hiring your customer” They do this so they can filter the good from the bad, and the bigger budget customers from the smaller. Also, it is important to filter the customers that you feel you cant show results too. Certain clients are way easier to achieve good marketing results, because of the niche they are in, or because of the product or service they are selling is a bit more unique. You should contact a big marketing agency and ask them directly to give you leads to customers they have filtered and will not be performing marketing services on. To be honest, they have no reason to say no! But… you must also filter those clients to make sure you can get results that are visible in the short term. You want the client to refer you to others as being a good marketer, and you also want to prove to yourself that you can actually do it. If you get yourself into a job that is more than you can chew, you can always consider hiring a 3rd party marketing agency to help you out.   Tip number #2 Go to your local job website, and try to find companies that are hiring marketing positions If you see business A hiring a digital marketing manager or a director of marketing or positions like that, contact them and offer your services as a 3rd party marketing agency. They have every reason to accept, as they will get the same job done, but for a fraction of the cost, since you will not be working full time on their business, and that allows them to not pay a full year salary to someone     Extra:   Some of the services you may offer in your SMMA Social media marketing agency or DA Digital Agency * Dynamic Website design and development (CMS enabled * SEO Search engine optimization * Social media management * consulting * facebook ads management * Google AdWords * E-Commerce portal development * Mobile Application development * Digital Marketing Services – SEO, SMO, SEM, PPC, Google Adwords   I hope these tips help you get more clients for your digital marketing agency

What Online Business Can I Start With $500 Ep. #75 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 13:45

Can I start an Online Business with less than $500? How to start an Online Business for less than $500? Today you are listening to episode 75, where I have a question from a friend Today’s question comes from my friend Marco. Marco lives in Europe and he was asking what kind of online business can he start with a $500 investment. Marco’s currency is actually Euros but after talking to him he said it was actually 400 euros but he rounded it to $500 USD Well Marco, believe it or not, it is still possible to start several online businesses with $500 or less. But… with that said, none will be an automatic passive income ROI. Just letting this out there before we even start. There are no passive businesses you can start and make real money without doing work Unless this was 2010, and you wanted to buy $500 worth of bitcoin and wait for 10 years. but, 2010 is long gone so we have to focus on the reality. A few ideas come to mind, depending on what you know about each niche. For example: Build yourself a WordPress website, announcing that you can build websites for others. in this option, you need to remember that your site will be your best selling feature because people will judge you by the look of your own site. In this situation, your only costs will be the server (about $40 for a year) and of course a lot of social media. If you want organic traffic, that will take a while to start pouring in, so meanwhile I would say: write at least 300 words per day with lots of SEO (search engine optimization)   Another option for your Online Business is to start an advertising agency Create and run other people’s ad campings of Google or Facebook Again the cost would be below $500, but you would need to find your clients by selling your services in person or over the phone. I know most millennials prefer to just text or email, but it is still way more effective to gain a client by doing a face to face or a phone call   Ok, One more Online Business idea: Dropshipping! Dropshipping is not dead yet. Now, I don’t recommend the WordPress anymore. Just because when it comes to dropshipping you want to automate as much as possible so you can scale. What I mean by this is, there is only so much you can do by yourself, without screwing up, orders, addresses, emails to suppliers, returns, complaints, long delivery times, etc So, I recommend getting a Shopify store. You can always try the store for free for 2 weeks Then if it is working you will start paying $29 per month. Now you will need to get Oberto (I am only recommending these tools, I do not make any commission of any of them) Oberlo will automate about 80% of everything you need to do, but it will also have a monthly fee. So, after you get the free trial of |shopiffy and Free trial of Oberlo, you need to find products with a high demand and low competition! The way I said this, almost made it sound simple! The ways to verify that something has low competition and high demand are actually pretty simple once you get used to doing it, but I would need to make a full episode about it just to explain. Actually, I cant just say this and move on to a new topic… I will make a full episode tomorrow on how to source a winning product to dropship.   ok, another business idea. If you hadn’t mentioned online businesses I would have a few more ideas that would work perfectly. I actually have done one myself. A few years ago, I decided to start a physical business that I could do on the side, so I bought a gas powered pressure washer with 3500 PSI, a latter, a few brooms and a very tall telescopic pole. I made a WordPress site and facebook page and started washing the exterior of houses fo...

Who Should I Retarget When Advertising on Facebook Ep. #74 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 8:45

Retargeting on Facebook Ads What is retargeting and who should you be retargeting when advertising online? A question from Dustin. I run a business called Papa syrup and I’ve been advertising on Fb with some success but never did a retargeting ad. Who should I be targeting when I do a retargeting ad?   First I will start with an explanation of what is retargeting. Retargeting is, for the lack of a better word, when you are being targeted by a particular advertiser. Ever looked at a certain product, and the next day it shows up everytime you open Facebook? What I mean by this is that sometimes you meet a certain criteria that makes you a good fit for a certain ad. For example, if you visited a page selling a particular set of green running shows if you spent more than x amount of time on that page If you added them to the cart but didn’t check out… all of these are very good reasons for someone to retarget you.   Now if you are the advertiser, why would you want to be retargeting someone? Number 1 reason I would retarget someone is if they are already a customer. For existing customers, since they are already a warmer audience I would make a more direct ad (as direct as TOS allows) For example, I could create an add letting them know (or reminding them) that they could save 15% if they subscribe to a monthly auto order of Syrup. This example, of course only works for replenishable items, like food, spices, toilet paper, etc   Other reasons would be because they added the item to cart. This shows that they had some intentions to buy or at least were interested in it until they saw the shipping cost. Another reason to be retargeting someone is if they spend a long time on your website! This also tells me 2 things. Either they liked the content so much they had to read everything and check out every image, or they landed on the website and got distracted by something else in real life, lol All these actions can be measured using the Facebook Pixel. If you don’t know what a pixel is, you can listen to Episode #72 where I explain what a FB pixel is and what it can do.   Now, why would you want to retarget anyone? Retargeting traffic is one of the highest converting traffic you can receive on your pages. The main reason they convert better is that you or your company are no longer strangers to them. They have interacted with you at least once, and now they are starting to get into the KLT (Know Love and Trust) When someone knows, loves and trusts you or your brand they will buy. Unfortunately, there are unlimited places online where people can go to get ripped off, so trust is getting harder to earn.

Social Media Marketing Agencies and Facebook Ads | Ep. #73 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 11:58

Social Media Marketing Agency and Facebook Ads Social Media Marketing Welcome everyone to a new year. 2018 is here and many big things await us. Today I want to talk a bit about the huge amount of Social Media Marketing Agencies, Digital Marketing Agencies, and Facebook Ad Agencies.   First, we start by explaining what Social Media Marketing is. In a nutshell, it’s advertising without having to pay. Its when you use social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, to engage with an audience and by giving them some valuable content, you may turn some into customers. Don’t confuse this with Social Media Management SMM is when a company, freelancer or even a friend is “managing” someone else’s social media accounts. By postings, commenting, replying to messages and comments, basically engaging with someone else’s audience as if it was them.   Now Facebook Advertising Agencies This does not require a big explanation as the name already says it all. Its when you own a business and you hire someone with more experience to create the Facebook advertising campaigns for you. Now, this is a great service to buy, if you get someone that really knows what they are doing. Some business owners, or eCommerce store owners (notice how I made a distinction between them because a lot of eCommerce store owners don’t have businesses. But, some people decide to take on advertising on their own, without knowing much about it and soon enough their dreams of becoming an online all-star, end up burned with a bunch of wasted advertising clicks. and remember that not every FB ads guru, is really a guru. There is a saying that I live by and really love: You don’t know what you don’t know! Not to long ago, one of the FB ads guru was telling me how he wished he could have a couple more pixels! and when I told him that FB allows us to have 10 per account he didn’t know what to say. This guru didn’t know about the existence of FB business. Actually, a very common surprise is when I tell them for example: ” why don’t you have the pixel installed on page x?” And they have no idea how I know! For those that are listening and don’t know, FB gives advertisers a free Chrome extension called pixel helper, and it shows us the pixels installed in every single website in the word. So, if you are someone that wants to hire an advertiser, do it! But do it right, ask them many questions, google some questions to ask. A good advertiser can save you lots of money, by targeting and retargeting the perfect audience at the best time and in the best location. And by the way, after hiring and FB ads expert, ask him to add you to his FB business account has an advertiser, so you can have a look at the results and share your own pixel data. Pixel data costs lots of money to get, so if it’s your money training this pixel, you might as well save this data. Actually, I just thought of something I was told recently by a friend. He said: when you podcats make sure to always explain things as if you are talking to someone that doesn’t know anything. And the logic whats that some people know some things, others know other things and some may not know what you are talking about. So, with that said, before I go, I will explain what a pixel is; A FB pixel is a code, given to advertisers, by FB, from inside our Business manager accounts, or FB ads account for those that don’t use FB business. And this code is meant to be placed in every single page of your websites, to track what pages people visited, how long they visited the page for, if they added to cart, if they bought something, if they opted into your email list, etc.

How to Import Directly to Amazon.com Since I'm Not in The US | Ep. #84 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 19:14

Importing your private label product directly to Amazon I’m in Toronto and get confused as How to Import Directly to Amazon.com Since I’m Not in The US. Also, get confused with all the keyword stuff. How to rank keywords etc This is a question from Mars Bars. We chatted a bit on messenger and Mars, is actually Portuguese like me. It’s always super exciting for me to talk to other Portuguese who are selling online or wish to start. Let’s start with the international shipping. This is actually super simple, all you have to do is outsource to s freight forwarder. One of the weel know freight forwarders that are already used to Amazon FBA is  Flexport As for the keywords, I recommend taking them from the biggest competitors and then filtering them using tools like keyword.io, to find some keywords that your competitors have missed. Then make sure to put them in the important places to rank. Number 1 is the title, the 5 bullet points, the description and the backend In the backend I use it to put keywords I don’t want to be visible, like Spanish keywords. You can also use tools like Sonar to find the most searched for keywords related to products like yours. *There is a lot more in the podcast but unfortunately I won’t be able to write it all today as I have to wake up in a couple hours to drive for 5 hours Also, please listen to episode 79 How to find customers for your SMM Social Media Marketing Agency    Thanks QA

How Do You Know If You Have The Right Partners | Ep. #72 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 6:25

Do you have a partnership? How Do You Know If You Have The Right Partnership? Partnership talk on one of the last episodes of 2017. I know I shouldn’t tell the date on a podcast because people can listen to this 2 or 3 years down the road and realize it is old content. Well… I’m not worried about that In a matter of fact, I want people to know when they are listening to older content so they know things could have changed meanwhile. Transparency is the name of the game. So its December 30th, 2017 I want to remind people of how great it is to have a partnership when you can actually trust and rely on your partners. It is very liberating knowing that someone will have your back. Personally, I have 2 partners, who have never let me down yet, so we are starting a second business together. I picked the perfect name for a marketing agency and bought the domain Prolific Zone dot COM For those of you who follow Russell Brunson (Click Funnels CEO), he often talks about the Prolific Zone and explains the meaning of it. Today I share a personal story. I worked and lived for over 10 years in Fort McMurray, Alberta (Canada) I’ve been away from Fort McMurray for a bit and was informed that I had a frozen pipe at my Fort mac house. It was almost -51 Celsius with windchill (-60 Fahrenheit) and that is something you will never miss, no matter how long you are away for. So, I started contacting companies to see who could do the job the fastest.Yes, my only concern at this point was who could do it the soonest, and I didn’t even ask for a quote. Knowing that customer service is not always a priority for contractors, I knew that some would take a while to answer, so I contacted several. I contacted 12 businesses in total, using their website’s contact forms, Kijiji and Facebook. Out of the 12 businesses I contacted, only 2 replied! One said he was out of town and all the staff was off (all good). The second replied they couldn’t do it (fair enough) and 10 businesses didn’t even reply! That is shocking to me, but at the same time, it explains how more than 52% of construction businesses fail compared to 36% average of other industries. Most people start a business with the intention to make money when in reality they should start a business to solve people’s problems, and any business that solves problems, will, in return make money from it! Anyway, this gets better… The next day in conversation with a Fort Mac business owner whose services are not even related to my problem, he offered to go to my house and fix the problem himself. I gave him the code for the door, explained the problem and about an hour later he told me it was done. This guy volunteered to do it, went out of his way to help, used his own extension cord and texted me: I got your back! I used to be surprised thinking how he started a business in the Municipality of Wood Buffalo and took it from 0 to 7 figures in less than 200 days! But now that doesn’t surprise me, as I see how easy it is for an entrepreneur with a positive attitude and a customer-pleasing mentality to melt the competition faster than the ice in my pipes. I want to thank you again @Jeff P. Walsh, not only having my back but for teaching me how easy it can be to succeed when you have the right mindset added to your indubitable passion to grind Thanks QA

How Do You Sleep At Night With Twin Babies? | Ep #71 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3:09

I had twin babies 3 weeks ago, and I haven’t slept yet. Can you give me tips on this? Twin babies! That’s what Speedy Rabit just had Today’s question is not about selling online, it’s not about marketing or even FB ads. It’s about babies, and how do you sleep at night if you have twins. The questions came from a user who forgot to give me his name, but his email is speedyrabit12@… He asks:  – Hey Bro, heard on the podcast you have twins. We just had 2 boys, 3 weeks ago and I haven’t slept yet. Can you give me tricks on this? well, speedy Rabit, I do have twins, a boy and a girl But, since they are only 4 months old, I don’t have much experience with tricks and tips for the twins. Actually, I need help myself since they are both terrible sleepers. They are too young to try the water trick. The one where you give them just water during the night every time they wake up. And they are also too young for a spanking, lol I really don’t know! If anyone listening (or reading) is a parent and know some tips, please contact me at QA Selling Online.com and let me know what I can do.   Thanks QA

Your Wordpress Blog Is Being Hacked Right Now | Ep. #70 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 5:23

Someone is probably trying to hack your WordPress Blog right now! Your WordPress Blog Is Being Hacked Right Now This is actually not even an exaggeration, test it out. I recently installed a plugin that I wanted, so I could block a few IPs from spamming my comments. But it turns out, this plugin also detects all the attempts to login to your admin The admin login is by default at yourwebsite.com/wp-admin This particular WordPress blog plugin will even record what password and username they attempted to use. The WordPress plugin in question is called IP Blacklist and its free. I get on average 124 login attempts per 24 hour period! That is no joke, that is some serious hacking attempts. Try it out and let me know how many you get. The picture above is a screenshot of the attempts happening as I was typing! Save yourselves! Run to the hills… Or, just make sure you have a super hard password. Please have a listed to a great episode where my daughter teaches me a marketing lesson   Thanks QA

I Hope Your Kids Give You Rocks | Ep. #69 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 6:07

I Hope Your Kids Give You Rocks! A marketing rock episode, about making your product unique and stand out! Yes, I do hope your kids give you Rocks, just like mine gave me. My 4-year-old daughter reminded me today of the importance of making things look special, so they can feel special. Let me start by telling you about a kids book that I heard my wife reading to my 4-year-old daughter before bed. It was a beautiful marketing masterpiece! Yes, it was a marketing book for kids. The story was about a little girl that wanted to make money to buy a scooter, and she decided to start a lemonade stand in the neighborhood. Bur, soon she realized that every kid in that neighborhood also had a lemonade stand. Due to the huge competition, she wasn’t getting many customers, and she had to do something… So, she decided to make her lemonade stand, stand out! (yes I said stand twice) She had to make hers unique, and more appealing to customers. Now, what she did is not important for this marketing episode, whats important is that she did something.   Now let’s talk about the rock! Carlie, my daughter found a rock outside when we went for a walk. She told me how that was a “special rock” I didn’t believe her I would have walked passed that rock or even kicked it out of the sidewalk. But, after we came home, she drew 2 eyes on it, a nose, eyebrows and the rest all blue. She proceeded to give me the rock and say: ” Daddy I made this for you” Now, when I look at the rock (right here on my desk as I type), I feel that it REALLY IS A SPECIAL ROCK! she made it unique and appealed to my heart.   Tha is what you have to do while creating your product or the product packaging Just like Apple did with the iPhone Make it look great, and give it the perception of quality.

Friends And Family Copy Your Products or Ask For Help? | Ep. #68 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 6:13

Do Friends or Family Copy Your Private Label Products? Welcome to this Podcast about Private Label products Today I launched my second book. In addition, this is a beautiful time to be selling online. It’s almost the end of 4th quarter and everyone is buying everything they can last minute. Today’s episode is a sort of a rant. Family and Friends attempt to copy what I do and copy my products instead of asking for help. I help people every single day start businesses and how to sell online on Amazon, Shopify and even how to create private label products Every single person I have trained, I have done so for free! So, why wouldn’t my family ask for help, or at least ask me some questions? Every single one of my products that are stacked on a shelf in the house, is part of my loser account. If you are going to copy, DO NOT copy the loser products! Of course, I do not reveal my winning products on the podcast or on the FB groups, but I will certainly let everyone know what products to sell, and what not to sell. I will even go as far as selecting the products to make sure your first one is a home run I know if the first product is not a winner, most people will feel disappointed and may even quit So, I will pick the product for my family and friends (have done it before) This week a family member, let me know that they were selling a “coffee just like yours” Well… that is a loser!!! DO NOT start your private label journey with a food product! DO NOT create your first private label to compete with, Oil Companies, Gold, Coffee companies, or in the weight loss category! If you have to do one of the above, do it, but not when you are starting, because you will either get crushed or sent to jail. Yes, private labelling food products without the required safety, rules and regulations can send you to Jail. Now, he has almost $5,000 in the garbage and wants to create a yoga mat private label, because he saw on youtube it was a hot item! Should I stop him from killing more money into a (insert F word here) yoga mat?   Guys and girls, let me tell you something from the bottom of my heart: If you have limited funds, please do not rush into spending it on the wrong thing Find someone that knows even a tinny bit more than you about it, and talk talk, talk. Ask them everything you can think of, and when you think you got all the information from him/her, now find another person that knows just a bit more, and repeat! DO NOT, try to learn everything by yourself. It is possible and even may be a good experience, but it will waste your money, and lots of your time.   Rant Over Please listen to episode 32, about the episodes that were too edited

Why Do People Convert Better On Desktop Than Mobile | Ep. #67 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 8:35

Sam’s customers convert better on desktop computer compared to the smartphone. Quin thinks this could be only during certain times of the day. He would like to know what platform Sam is selling in He knows it is not on Amazon, due to them not giving access to all customer stats. With that being said, Quin has seen it be the opposite in most situations. He believes people are so attached to their smartphones these days, that it’s becoming more and more easy, to get someone to convert, when they are on the phone In your situation, there could be a few things that make it happen that way. 1 – could be that the site where your customer is landing , isnt optimized for smart phones 2 – Could be the time of day. Most people browse the internet while at work, and there are things that you need to talk to your partner (wife/husband) before buying 3- Checkout process could be long for those without a wifi connection. Always make sure to run thrown your own checkout, to see what it looks and feels like. If your customers convert better on the desktop than on the smartphone, maybe it could also be because of who your target audience is Meaning if you are targeting mostly webmasters, admin people or older generations They tend to spend more time on a computer or a laptop anyway. You didn’t mention if the fact that they Convert Better On Desktop was good or bad for you. If you have a minute, get back to us and let us know what the conversion rate is. Quin has a feeling it could be because of the target audience, and your smartphone conversion rate could be normal, but the desktop conversion is above the average. This is actually something super exciting to figure out if we have all the information Please make sure to get back to us with the remainder of the stats so we can help you out Don’t forget to listen to episode 63, where Quin talks about his new product launch Thanks Quin’s Admin (sitting behind a laptop)
