How Can I Avoid Amazon FBA Long Term Storage Fees | Ep. #95 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 8:54

Jimmy is an Amazon FBA seller who got hit hard with Amazon’s FBA Long term storage fees How Can I Avoid Amazon FBA Long Term Storage Fees? To avoid the LTSF there are a couple ways to go about it. One of the ways may not seem totally white hat, but in reality, there is nothing against it. The most used and obvious way it to control your inventory and not allow the stock to be extra. If you have stock extra after 6 months, maybe its time to see why it didn’t sell and may consider it a dead product. If you have a product at Amazon’s warehouses long enough to pay FBA long term storage fees, it means the product isn’t moving fast enough or you ordered too many.   The second way to do it is to remove the inventory before Amazon charges you the FBA long term storage fees. But, if you remove an Asin from Amazon, they will not let you restock it for 60 days! So, the solution is to remove it to a 3rd party warehouse, replace the FNSKU with a new FNSKU from a different seller central account (authorized accounts of course) and have this second account now sell the product. Notice that if you send inventory after the FBA long term storage fee date, by the time the next LTSF date arrives your product hasn’t been there for 6 months! For example, if the Amazon FBA long term storage fees are charged on February 15th, and you send inventory in on March 1st, by the time August 15th LTSF come around, your Asin has only been at the FBA warehouse for 5.8 months and not 6 So, basically with this trick, you can have the product sit at Amazon for 11 months before it gets charged LTSF I hope the message was clear and I hope it will help someone   Meanwhile here is a great episode to listen to, or read: Who is out there saying not boost facebook posts   Thanks QA

Who Is Out There Saying To Not Boost Facebook Posts? | Ep. #91 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 9:53

Boost Facebook Posts! I say Boost Facebook Posts and let me know your long-term results! Some “guru” is out there telling people to never boost a post because it is like burning money. It’s a complete waste, they say! Well, I say the complete opposite, in my experience. First of all, every single marketer should know that you cant say something doesn’t work! The reason you never say something doesn’t work is that everything needs to be tested, everything changes and every Ad is a different case! You cant target with a Boost!  (Said one of the “know it all’s”) Oh, yes you can! You can use the exact same targeting techniques that you use in a regular campaign Actually, you can even use the same saved or created audiences for targeting, retargeting and lookalike. Another thing these Advertising specialists missed is that a boosted Facebook post is forever… Yes lifetime advertising Even after you turn off the dollar budget to the boost, it will still be live And… 1 year after the boost, everybody that shared and commented will receive the 1-year memory notification! How about that? Free, lifetime advertising with yearly reminders (it’s like having an email list that you email once per year, and they remember you) Do yourself a favor, go design a post. Yes, design the post with a highly engaging image, highly engaging text, with questions and several calls to actions (never sallesy) Target the perfect audience and boost the shit out of it! Then after you tested the results, come tell me how you feel Thanks QA

Do You Really Want To Be Successful Or Do You Just Say It? | Ep. #90 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 5:08

How Much Do You Really Want To Be Successful? Today I bring you a story that was told by Les Brown in one of his talks, about how to be successful. A young guy wanted to be successful and rich entrepreneur. One day he met with a very successful guru and asked him for help The Guru asked him ” how badly do you want to be successful?” He said ” as bad as I want to breath” Ok, meet me at the beach at 4 Am, said the Guru Right there the younger entrepreneur wannabe already started to show his weakness by not wanting to get up at 3 AM But he showed up… Then the Guru put on his shorts and said, let’s go swim. The younger guy thought “I’m not here to swim, I’m here to learn how to be successful and make a ton of money” But, he proceeded to walk towards the ocean. After being in deeper waters, the guru grabbed buddy’s head and forced it underwater… He kept his head under water for a bit, and then let him up to breathe. When buddy came up, he took a deep breath and asked what that was all about. The successful guru proceeded to explain: “It’s not enough to say you want to be successful as much as you want to breathe! You need to really feel it” When you were underwater, the only thing you could think of was getting some air, not how many likes you had on Facebook, or how many followers you had on Instagram! All you wanted was to breathe! When you learn to want success as bad as you wanted to breathe that second, that’s when you know you will become a success!   What did you think of this story? (that’s all it is by the way… a story) How do you feel about it? I hope this will help someone by giving you the motivation to go out there and get it done!   Thanks QA

How The Top Shopify Stores Are Owned By or Using Influencers | Ep. #89 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 6:41

Out of the Top 20 Shopify Stores, 18 Are Influencers Top 20 Shopify Stores If you are an online marketer or an online entrepreneur you know the importance of influencers Looking at the Top 20 Shopify Stores I can see that 18 are owned by Influencers and the other 2 use influencers to promote their brand. What this tells me is that influencer marketing is working. By the way, you don’t need to own one of the top 20 Shopify stores to use influencer marketing. you can start testing today with influencers or micro influencers. Just make sure you see that the followers they have are real and not bots, and also make sure that these real followers are actually engaging with the content shared by the influencer. A good rule of thumb I like to use is 10% below 250 thousand followers and above 3% in a following that is over 1 Million   Hope this helps   Thanks QA

FB Screenshots Of $150 Million Per Year Don't Make You A Shopify Guru | Ep. #88 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 4:42

Facebook screenshots of millions of dollars on Shopify or Amazon FBA are being shown daily in every entrepreneurial group.   These screenshots are often followed by attempts to sell online training, but they don’t make them a Shopify Guru or Amazon FBA Expert. Every time a revenue screenshot is being shown, you must remember they are showing it for a reason. The vast majority is to sell something! Either selling online training, consultancy or to show themselves as an expert in a certain subject, so they can sell to you further down the road. This week a 17-year-old “guru” that announced to be selling over $150 million per year on Shopify, was found to be a scammer. This entrepreneurial guru, who shall remain unnamed had shown several times on Facebook groups his screenshots of millions that he was making. Of course, at the same time, this scammer was selling online courses together with a very well known Facebook ads expert. And, that is the scary part! This very well known Facebook ads expert is the one that introduced the teen to everyone in his group, and added him to his training. So, know who can you believe? I say, do not believe anyone who has the need to show you screenshots, or pictures of themselves standing next to a Lamborghini that someone else just parked there. Be very careful when choosing to do online training and focus on the expertise of the trainer and the value you have been getting from him/her.   I hope this helps someone out there. Thanks QA

How To List A Food Product On Amazon FBA | Ep. #86 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 10:17

I sourced a food product and want to list in the Amazon grocery and gourmet foods category! How To List A Food Product On Amazon FBA Today’s episode is a reply to a question I received at QASELLINGONLINE.COM The question comes from a visitor who signed “Need Help” “I want to start selling on Amazon.com, I already sourced my product in the food category, but I don’t see that category when I try to list it. What am I doing wrong? Unfortunately, I think your name might be right, you do need help. Food products are listed on Amazon under the Grocery and gourmet food. This is a gated category within Amazon. This means its a category that is locked until you fulfill certain demands from Amazon. To ungate this category you need to make sure your food product is of the highest quality. Go to your seller central account, and on the top right of the screen, you will see a search bar… Type in that search bar ” Gated Categories” now you will see a small page on the right side of your screen where you will pick the best option to show you all the gated categories on Amazon. Now you select the grocery and gourmet food category and press enter Amazon will ask you to fill a form and submit 3 invoices from the purchase of your materials from the vendor. Option 2 will be to submit a certification from FDA. Pick whatever option is easier for you, and remember that after you submit you may get a few copy and paste answers denying your application… do not be afraid of that. All you have to do is apply again in the same case, just go to your case and find the option that says ” reopen the case” and keep doing it until they give you a non copy and paste answer. The for I used in my case was to get the FDA registration form, and I used a company called FDA imports. It cost me around $200 for that registration and Amazon ungated my gourmet food category the same day. I will send you some screenshots on how to find the gated categories and what you have to type in the fields they ask   Thanks QA

How To Import Directly To Amazon In The USA | Ep. 85 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 19:14

How To Import Directly To Amazon In The USA A question from Mars Bars: Hey Quin! Hope all is well! Love the podcast! Looking for some advice. I’m in the research phase for my first PL product. I’m in Toronto and get confused as how to import the product directly into the .com market since I’m not in the U.S?? Also, get confused with all the keyword stuff. How to rank keywords etc.. I understand if you don’t have Time to answer this but I’ll gladly pay you for your time. Look forward to hearing from you. Obrigado! Viva Portugal! Mars Here is my answer: Importing from China directly to the USA is actually super easy, and not a monster like I used to think. After you pick the product, just find a freight forwarder and hire them to take care of your shipment. It will go from the manufacturer’s hands all the way to Amazon’s warehouse and start selling in no time. But… Always remember to hire a respected professional freight forwarder.

Amazon FBA Seller Tip To Save Pick And Pack Fees | Ep. #84 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 6:44

Amazon Hack To Save Pick And Pack Fees Andy B has a brand new product launched on Amazon FBA and after adding pick and pack fees he has no profit! How to solve this problem? Andy, you screwed up the homework during product research. Leaving no room for pick and pack fees is a big problem Let’s try to minimize this. First, figure out if it is possible to increase the price in order to sell for a profit If the product is actually a good one and is selling quickly, maybe you can try to sell it at break even and ask the manufacturer to decrease the size. For example, if the product is in the oversized category, is there anything you can do, to bring it down to the normal sized category under 16x9x4? Can it be folded in the package? Is your product too heavy, or just big and bulky? I will tell you a quick story of how I saved $8000 in one day, just by changing the size of 1 item: I had a very light item, but it was about 17x7x1, so it was in the oversized category just like every single one of my competitors. But I asked the manufacturer to make it 15.6 x 7 x 1 and ended up saving $4 per unit in a 2000 unit sea can, that was $8k in savings that none of my competitors had, so I put my product on launch day at break even, and in less than 2 days I was selling 0ver 100 a day and received the number 1 new release badge, and then the best seller badge! So, for this product or for your next, always ask yourself, “Can I make it smaller in the package?” And never forget your pick and pack fees   Thanks QA

How to Hire Your Marketing Customer | Ep. #83 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 6:34

How to Hire Your Marketing Customer Hire Your Marketing Customer A question from Lance about what I talked a couple episodes ago. How do you hire your social media marketing customer? It all depends on where you got the client. if they came to you through your own social media or your website, you will need to talk to them before doing any work. So, you just simply ask them Ask if they have a budget, ask if they have hired before, ask how much they spent last year, ask what their goal is… Make sure to write SOPs Standard operating Procedure for everything you do, so you can get the business operating without you in the future. Now, if you cold called them, you can go ahead and do some research before calling. For instance, I would open a local magazine or a local newspaper and see what business are already spending money on that outdated advertising media. If they are willing to through money out the window to advertise on a newspaper and never know if anyone has seen the ad, or if anyone has ever converted from that ad, it is insane. And by the way, if you hire a customer that is going to be a pain in the butt, and spend more time than gives you revenue, you can easily just fire him But I will repeat, you should make SOPs and with time keep adding to those SOPs so you can grow the business without being in it   Thanks QA

A Dropshipping Competition From $0 to $100k | Ep. 82 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 5:27

A Dropshipping Competition From $0 to $100k Dropshipping Competition! This week I received a message from Jason, who had been taking a few online courses, from Russell Brunson. Jason was ready to start a brand new online business, and I invited him over so we could do some hands-on product research. After we got talking, ideas started flowing, notes were taken, and some great nuggets were discovered. We talked about, sales funnels, Landing pages, Facebook ads, product sourcing, Shopify… etc. Then after 5 hours of great chatting (while having a couple coffees), we decided to create an online competition. We are going to do a dropshipping competition! The goals are to see who will reach first $100, then $1000, then $10,000 and $100,000 (one hundred thousand USD) But, there are rules to follow: * We cant use any existing FB pages, or social media following we already have * All websites, domains, FB pages, etc have to be brand new. * We cant spend more than $15 per day on Ads * Product sale price or cost has no limit * We start with free trials of Shopify + Oberlo This means that very shortly we will each find a product and open a Shopify store. We can create sales funnels with free plus shipping offers, upsells downsells etc. I expect it to be lots of fun, and at the same time make some money with it. I’ll keep you posted, so make sure to subscribe to the podcast Thanks QA

Where To Find Free Masterminds For Entrepreneurs | Ep. #81 - Q&A Selling Online - From Amazon FBA to Shopify, Digital Marketing and Facebook Ads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 6:47

Where To Find Free Masterminds For Entrepreneurs Masterminds For Entrepreneurs! Alex wants to know Where To Find Free Masterminds For Entrepreneurs in his city. Unfortunately, I don’t know what city he is from, but my answer will still be the same. I’m sure by now you have searched Facebook looking for groups in your city, but most group owners don’t know how to set up names and keywords when it comes to Facebook groups. Visit Meetup.com and I am sure you will find lots of local entrepreneurs who meet on a regular basis. It is important that you, don’t focus on finding internet entrepreneurs, because they may be in a regular business group. It’s 2018 and everyone who has a business need to have an online presence or else they will not be in business much longer. After you find a few of these local groups for |entrepreneurs, you will see that all groups will have more than likely a Facebook group you can join too if you wish. And, for anyone in Alberta,  Canada who wants to meet up with me and mastermind in person, feel free to contact me at QASELLINGONLINE.COM Thanks QA
