Juice up the body of your model with anabolic lighting! Sometimes you want to emphasize the muscles of a toned body. At other times you want to bring out the breasts a bit more. Fitness, bodybuilding, or just fuller curves, it's no problem with the right approach to lighting.
When shooting a boudoir portrait with your subject resting on her stomach, pose her so that she pushes up her upper body as tall as possible. It might not feel very comfortable for her. But it looks excellent on the photo.
FREE Download of the Photo Workflow Folder Structure here: https://michaelzelbel.com/workflowfolders Some photographers make a fulltime job out of shoveling around image files. Make better use of your time. Use ou GL-System for data handling and never again worry about where a particular image file might be.
In this video, I share an example for a TfP arrangement that I made with a Chinese TV actress for a nude photo shoot. It's often difficult for photographers to get the right talent for their photo project. If you take a moment to listen to your potential models and to adapt your communication with the talent, so that points more into the direction that they perceive as a "win," then it has a significant impact on their enthusiasm for your project.
Creating a milk bath for a photoshoot is very simple. We recommend you fill your bathtub half with hot water and add one to four liters of regular cow milk, depending on how foggy you like your milk bath should appear. See here:
Get the EBook: https://www.letsshoottomorrow.com/ Professional models don't have much time for TfP shootings. Some photographers think that they have to come up with something really big to convince these models to cooperate with them. Other photographers think that they just have to ask them for TfP work with kind of pitch at all. Neither works. What will get you these models is to create win-win situations that are relevant to them. And this does not have to be hard.
Clubs are great places for making connections with people who will help you with your ambitions. With that mindset you are able to leverage even your local camera club to the max.
Multiple light sources in multiple different colors can add an exciting element to your photos. But the important word here is "multiple". You need at least two lights with visibly different colors to create this effect. If you read this text early enough: Get 33% off for my ebook "Low-key Bodyscapes". We see that many people spend money on artistic nude photos. Also, it's easy to reach these people via social on the Internet. That means that there is a fantastic market for photographers who are into this genre. But the transparency of the Internet also poses challenges for photographers. We became comparable.
RAW Editors like Adobe Lightroom Classic go far beyond RAWs. They import and edit a myriad of image formats. The most popular among them is JPG. It's a perfect format for viewing photos but it does not lend itself to image editing. It might sound silly but it improves the quality of your edits tremendously if you convert you JPGs into 16-bit images before editing and reduce them again to 8-bit afterwards.
When shooting photos we photographers pay attention to an impressive number of technical variables. At the same time we communicate with our model in front of the lens. This is not ideal.
Flashlight freezes the subject of my photo. That's one of the reasons why I prefer it to constant light. But then again, a constant light source allows me to shoot stills and video with the exact same light quality. That's reason enough for me to explore big LED panels.
It can be intimidating when you agreed to do a photo shoot next and you must use off-camera flash only, that you never used a flash before. But I got you covered. One option might be that you team up with a veteran photographer who did hundreds of shootings like that before. But even when you want to do it all by yourself, then my guide "Perfect Portraits" will show you all the setup details, settings and poses you need for your shoot. Just follow the guide: https://glmethod.com/
It's a situation that can drive photographers furious. A model takes a photo from their photo shoot, runs it through a retouching app on her mobile. The app turns her skin into plastic, blows out all highlights, adds some face light leaks and a bit of funky lens flare. She posts the photo on social and proudly tags the photographer.
Moving Adobe Lightroom and the photos to a new computer sounds complex and scary to many photographers. But with a little bit of understanding about RAW Converters and how they work with catalogs, there's nothing to worry about. It's a straight forward process.
