Back when podcasting was new we were having a fun time. I am going to start looking back to those crazy days when we were all action and had no idea the thing we were creating. This is episode 99 of the RfL Podcast from December 12, 2005, this was before the “Indie Music Blast” title. In this we have Miles Partridge, The Distillers, The Bitchslap award, and a lot more. As was the case back in the early days, this is not necessarily safe for work. I kind of miss these days.

I have moved my Indie Music Blast Podcast production to my iPad using Bossjock studio. This is going to seriously streamline my workflow on the show. With the museum job, working on Dimensional Chaos, and working on other side projects I need to be able to create the Indie Music Blast with as little time usage as possible. We have some eclectic electronic music today and I talk about the many different forms of electronic music. It is not either Skrillex or Deadmau5 There is a large world of electronic. Ever wonder how much the top DJ/producers make? I have that for you. Let’s go! We are back, with the minimalist styled and accidentally wrong numbered episode 475 of the RfL Indie Music Blast Podcast. Let’s just call it 475a since it should be 476. We have great electronic tunes, we have a talk about hate, narcissism, and lies, plus a new sponsor in C4 credit, and finally, the story of what the hell happened last year to the show and why we are minimalist right now. Enjoy the stripped down version of the music blast and get ready for some great tunes! It has been a while since the last show and I have missed bringing the best indie tunes directly to your ears. We are going to have some fun today! Get ready for the Indie Music Blast Podcast, episode 475! It is Monday and we have some great Hip Hop for you. Two of our all time favorites and a new act from Taiwan! You read that right, Taiwanese Hip Hop. How cool is that? We will check in on the celebrity birthdays for the day. There is an update on the Senator Jaiz album. I give a shout out to the Podcast Artifacts group at Facebook. Poet Alice Osborn has an award nominated poem and she came to RfL to put it to music. And we have a Sissy (read “pussy”) report of a 220 pound ex-football playing teacher that gets beat up by the most unlikely bully around. Enjoy! Music on the show: Kou Chou Ching Civil Revolt Part 2 (Fish the Point Remix) and New Power, Rock the World MrNes Pick it up and Lastsong Trew Music Miles and Young and Reckless
Sometimes you have to look back to see where you are going. Today the Reaching for Lucidity Indie Music Blast Podcast does just that. We have one new act today and all the rest are from the 2005-2007 period. Only two acts on he show today are still going. This is why I always stress the importance of spreading the love and supporting the indie acts. Still, the show kicks! Even if it is mostly old school. Old and New? What could that mean? Simple, today we have a Coffee House mixtape featuring some new acts as well as some of our favorite songs from the beginning days of the show from 2005-2008. Also, I talk about the next behind the scenes show coming soon and I gripe a bit. Standard operating procedure. Plus I get a new look! Oh the joy, right? no? Alright, i can take a hint. The show is awesome though. Cheers!
