He completed a fellowship in critical care at the National Institutes of Health. He is currently a cardiology fellow at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Frank Rasulo is an associate professor of anesthesiology and intensive care at University Hospital in Brescia, Italy, where he heads the neurocritical care department. The topic of his presentation is intracranial hypertension which is his research focus. He was a principal investigator on the IMPRESSIT-2 trial published in Critical Care in 2022. This was a prospective multicenter international trial that looked at transcranial doppler as a screening tool to exclude intracranial hypertension in patients who present with brain injury.
