In our 2nd episode since “social distancing” began, we check in on each other and discuss ways that we are still able to play boardgames, including a quick dive into some “digital boardgames” such as Terraforming Mars (Steam) and Slay the Spire (Steam). Josh regails us with his experiences with Monopoly. We also present our Isle of Cats Review and discuss the game at length with designer Frank West of City of Games.

Despite the disruption to our daily life, we've decided that Coronavirus will not interfere with the Brawling Brothers!  We dive deep into Josh's gaming past to find out what makes him tick.  We discuss recent plays of Planet , Volcanic Isle , Ticket to Ride: London, Walking in Burano & Disney Villainous.  We wrap up the show with a brief SaltCon 2020 wrap up, focusing on the games we played at the convention, the people we spent time with and - of course - the best food we ate!

Josh and Brandon are joined by Cat and Ludie, who are asked to answer a very specific question: What are the top 5 boardgames of all times? Of course if Cat is in the studio, it's time for a rousing round of Questions from the Hat with Cat! Josh, Jordan and Brandon ventured to the FROZEN TUNDRA of Nebraska in the middle of January to attend ATBcon 2020!  This episode focuses on the fun that we had at ATBcon; including discussion of many of the boardgames we played, most of the incredible people we met and ALL of the excitement that a small convention can offer!  We cover: AuZtralia, Wavelength, Carson City, Memoir 44 (Operation: Overlord style) as well as a handful of other boardgames.

The Brawling Brothers reveal their plans for Board 2020! We look forward to it so very much, even calling it our "Home Con".  BGGcon 2019 was absolutely outstanding and we spend this entire episode telling you WHY!  we've narrowed down our discussion to our 12 favorites: Marco Polo 2, Ragusa, Discworld: Ankh-Morpork, Smartphone Inc, Deep Blue, Skull King, Babylonia, Paris: New Eden, Bora Bora, Bruxelles 1897, Egizia: Shifting Sands and Crystal Palace.

Our "Horror in the War Room" episodes are a huge favorite - both to us and the Brawlers in Brawling Land.  This year is no different, as we took the opportunity to produce a radio drama written by Evan Derrick of Van Ryder Games.  No Halloween episode would be complete without a visit from Dracul and Igor! Our deep dive Abomination Board Game review is the center of our board game talk - we also discuss our recent plays of: Gates of Delirium, Horrified, What Came First and Slide Quest.
