The Destiny 2 Witch Queen Reveal had everyone excited about the future of the series. We react to all the news from the event and also talk about Destiny 2 Season of the Lost and how it ties into everything. Our Destiny 2 Witch Queen reaction meant we had to bring the crew back together to chat one more time for such a big event. In addition, as the Destiny 2 30th Anniversary celebration nears, Bungie showcased many of the items you'll be able to acquire in-game when it launches next year.
The weekly format for Fireteam Chat, our Destiny 2 Podcast is coming to a close and we send it off with a fond farewell. Join us as hosts from the past discuss their memories and the impact of the show. A special thank you to everyone who left a note for this final episode.
This week the fireteam discusses our impressions of Season of the Splicer, which leaves a bit of a hung jury on the panel (see what we did there?). At the start of 2021 Destiny 2 released a plan for the next season of the game. We now know that Season 13 will re-release a plethora of weapons and armor pieces we've owned in the past bringing up a lot of questions about the sustainability of sunsetting and player fatigue.
Supers may be removed from Destiny 2 in the future in order to make room for more IP-defining supers like Nova Warp in an effort to reshape the game. There have also been several interviews with Luke Smith covering Vault of Glass, and the future of the series.
