Wednesday on the Daly Dose, the Colorado Rockies outlast the Chicago Cubs in the Wild Card Game, the NFL needs to rethink their officiating methods, and Le’Veon Bell is ready to play football again...eventually. Now that we are over a month into the college football season, we take a look at the top contenders to win the Heisman this season, and we discuss a few players that might already be out of the running. Then we discuss the Major League Baseball playoffs. Who are the true contenders to win the World Series? We look to a very reliable source to shed some light on the postseason!

Tuesday on the Dose, the National League postseason is finally set thanks to the season ending tie breakers, as the Milwaukee Brewers win the NL Central and the Los Angeles Dodgers win the NL West. We saw a better than expected Monday Night Football game as the Kansas City Chiefs came back from a 10 point deficit to beat the Denver Broncos on the road. Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes was very impressive. Then we take a look at some of the biggest winners and losers from the week in college football and the NFL. In NCAA Football, there is just one undefeated team remaining in the Pac 12, one head coach keeps finding ways to win, and Penn State should be worried about more than their play calling! In the NFL we discuss the Patriots getting back on track, a tale of two Thomases, and NFL refs at least got one thing right!
