Summary: Each short show focuses on a single piece of the weight loss puzzle. The show is all about achieving your goal weight and living the life you want, of being the person you deserve to be. These tips, trick and secret life hacks are all common sense advice, and exactly what I am doing to reach my goal weight. I am a Registered Nurse, with cardiac and emergency nursing experience. I use that background to help me find different actions that will bring me the desired results.

The most basic method is to reduce the stress that is pushing us to eat. I realize that is easier said than done, but there are four common stressors–financial, health, family and career–and each can be handled. My weight loss goal is to lose 1 pound per week. That means that my daily calorie budget from LoseIt has a built-in deficit of 500 calories. On Thanksgiving, I ate more than 1300 calories OVER that budget, and yet 3 days later, my scale shows that I’ve lose 0.6 pounds in the past 7 days. I ate like a king and am still making progress toward my goal. How is that possible? It’s because I look at the big picture. Do you?
