This is a topic of concern that many have wanted an answer for yet didn't really know how to put into words without being misunderstood. While we all know that there is no one official LGBT or Homosexual Agenda, as there are just as many factions and variables to that umbrella community as there are in any other, the feeling amongst many who support the more traditional ideals and concepts of community feel that they are being marginalized in the very same manner that those living the LGBT lifestyle preference have voiced for many decades. One of the most recent and very public manifestations of this concern was the very scathing and divisive statement from Starbucks CEO Howard Shultz, when he stated to a Starbucks shareholder during their Annual Shareholders meeting this year was that "If you support traditional marriage then we don't want your business!" It was unbelievable to me to hear someone who has so much reach and influence in the business world spew such an inconsiderate statement that seemed to be driven by an influence beyond his usual passions for all things inclusive. Was his arm being twisted to make a statement such as this? Not only that but where were the cries from the LGBT community against what Mr. Shultz said because if any one community knows the feeling of being shut out it's the LGBT community and in this case they should be the first to speak out and denounce Mr. Shultz words! No maybe I'm wrong about this and I am sure there are some in that lifestyle that don't feel that what he said was right but what I'm getting at is with such availability to so much information these days online why is it that one could hear a pin drop on this issue? Is there REALLY a Gay Mafia?

Baby Mommas are a common fixture in today's society and a universally accepted lifestyle category across the board. soon you will see "Baby Momma" on most applications or forms right up there with Married, Single or Widowed. Now don't get me wrong, they have ALWAYS been women who have had their children out of wedlock and tried to carry themselves in a dignified manner after the fact. The truth of the matter is that it was here business to do so but society STILL gave a side eye to any woman who did and she knew it but no one really "went there." Black folks especially can be so two faced when these issues arise in a discussion, so many of our women are not only having their children out of wedlock and suffering the consequences for doing so as many have used a man merely as a sperm donor but now this thing called "Baby momma" has taken things to an all time low! Why is it that the stereotypical so called Baby Momma feels as though she has accomplished something after she had a child from some knucklehead who orgasmed up inside of her and never had any intentions of even staying with her? Why is it that these women who breed so easily with whoever they were "Talking To" at the moment and then get major attitudes with everyone after they've felt the weight of raising their children all alone and can't get to the club like they used to which got them in trouble in the first place? What made them think that after living a few hedonistic years in a wonton carefree manner without any thought of improving their education or increasing their chances to be their best that they would have ANY chance of making it without the soon to be canceled government handouts that have robbed them further of any will to be self sufficient and independent?

Tonight on Late Nights with LanceScurv I want us to really break down what really happened by the limited facts that we have. In a very disturbing month where several of our Black Media Icons have been given the boot by Corporate America, I think we all should look into what is the bigger plan as these strategic moves are being made in the manner of a controlled demolition. In one of my earlier articles I quoted comedian/talk show host/author/actor Steve Harvey when he stated that "Hollywood is MORE racist than America." So with not only the cancellation of The Michael Baisden Show, which is at the height of its popularity, but with the firing from CNN of Soledad O'Brien, Donna Brazile & Roland Martin, along with the public lynching/character assassination of the righteously outspoken Boston Talk Show Host Warren Ballentine, one has to ask oneself "are strong Black influential voices now on the hitlist? Why is this happening and WHO is NEXT? .......this is a discussion that I believe is LONG overdue!
