Summary: Lance Scurvin is a Social Media Activist who takes pride in tackling the current issues of the day head on that the mainstream media are deathly afraid to touch.
In case you didn't know, Oprah Winfrey is NOT the Messiah! But somebody needs to tell her that as soon as possible! Now that statement was sprinkled with a bit of sarcasm so please don't think that I despise Ms. Winfrey, that's not the case at all. My dislike is toward her actions - or rather lack of them - is when it comes to addressing the issues in the Black community she treats them like they don't exist until she has a movie coming out. It's almost as though she sees the pain and suffering that Black people must endure on a daily basis as merely a way to get the money pot stirred so that she can reap the benefits with the high box office numbers that happen whenever we as Black people see someone that looks like us on the screen to bring in the big bucks. I mean DAMN OPRAH! Are Black people simply trained monkeys to you that are to jump through your cinematic hoops every time you have a flick to hustle to the masses? .......do you feel as though we should feel that your movies are some kind of reward like a puppy feels when he gets a doggie snack? We jump for you all of the time Oprah, but in recent memory - and NOT so recent memory - you don't seem to care for us enough to give us the support when the people who look like YOU - male AND female - are shot down in cold blood with no hesitation or remorse whatsoever! How does it feel to look down on the poor city of us common working stiffs knowing that you for the most part have been given a pass to what most of us will have to endure for the rest of our lives in this country called Amerikkka? How does it feel to look in the mirror to know that you will always be Amerikkka's favorite Mammy and be paid well to continue a well known tradition that has been going on here for hundreds of years? How does it feel?
Geraldo Rivera - in this latest episode of the plastic out of touch Fox News attempt at being relevant - attempted to deflect the importance of the "I Can't Breath" Eric Garner world wide protests by saying that Miami Heat NBA Basketball Player Lebron James, instead of wearing an "I Can't Breath" t-shirt should instead be wearing a "Be A Better Father" t-shirt to address the absentee Black Fathers that are not living up to their positions to their children. While the issue of absentee Fathers are a truth in the Black Community, I feel that for to Geraldo Rivera to say something like this at a time when a true solidarity is manifesting world wide between people of all ages, races and backgrounds to protest the Police killings and abuse of Black men and women was a cheap ploy to distract the masses of what is happening that in essence is striking fear in the Mainstream Media outlets such as Fox News! They don't like the fact that all of their hard work to demonize Black people hasn't successfully worked due to the fact that the protests have now gone beyond the borders to other countries that would have NEVER known about it if not for Social Media. So by pointing out an ongoing issue that definitely needs working on was simply a way of attempting to pull the imagery of Black men back into the dark ages of time when the mainstream wanted to believe that we were all pleasure seeking hedonistic creatures who only thought about their next sexual conquest before moving on to the next one without even as much as a second thought. But if are truly that then why didn't Geraldo Rivera tell the whole ENTIRE story why Black men were coerced into being just this way for several hundred years in order to produce more slaves for their slave-masters? You see, Geraldo Rivera seemed to forget that part!

Dr. Ramona Brockett goes all in sharing her theory on Conceptual Incarceration, the prediction of an upcoming Depression as spoken by Billionaire Mark Cuban as well as the tragic situation of the 24 year old Michigan man who was killed in an eerily similar fashion to Eric Garner where he was told by his killers “I you can talk, you can breathe!” Do not miss this high powered rapid-fire conversation from a mighty woman of excellence who has so much knowledge an rich thought provoking perspectives to share! Please leave your thoughts and opinions on what you’ve heard in the comment area below! God bless!
The time has come to set the record straight on one of the most corrupt police forces in America, THE NYPD! Pastor Damon Richardson has had enough of the denial that has been executed not only by many in the Black Clergy but in the Black Community as a whole. It appears that to many are muzzled because of their fear of losing their jobs or smearing their public persona as to not have the spotlight placed on them which might cause them to lose what they have. It's the equivalent to the old plantations and the unwritten rules therein that are played out in the new year of 2015 that shows how far we HAVEN'T progressed. On the other hand we have the New York City Police Department, an agency that has a history of brutality, criminal activity and gangster-like tactics when dealing with the people of color there. The abuse of power, the beat downs, the killings, the exploitation and all that is executed behind a badge and a gun has reached a boiling point in the society to cause the people to be anxious and ready for a righteous revolution! While it would be unwise to fight this war in a manner that they will win hands down, we must be smart in our execution of it because we the people hold the power because we outnumber themby far. But before we attack the problem we must know exactly what the problem is and tonight we will go in on the transgressions of the New York City Police Department with fire, intensity and intelligence from a Man Of God who can articulate it like no other! A man to whom we know and love: Pastor Damon Richardson! This is truly one program that you do not want to miss!
The Time And What Must Be Done - The Minister Louis Farrakhan
Greetings! My name is Dr. Ramona Brockett, the research that I will discuss on this episode of The LanceScurv Show comes from my dissertation where I used secondary data from the NCCD archives of the University of Michigan and ran a logistic regression to determine African American (AA) and European American (EA) perceptions of police aggression. I looked at justified police aggression and unjustified police aggression. When I say, "aggression," I mean police action. The areas of perception included everything from arrests to helping old ladies across the street. The most important findings were these: (1) AA's in the upper glass approved of police aggression at a lower rate than lower class EA's; (2) Working class AA's and Working class EA's approved similarly police to both justified and unjustified police aggression; and, (3) working class AA's approve of both justified and unjustified police aggression at a higher rate than the upper class AA's, middle class AA's and lower class AA's. Dissimilarly, EA's approval is proportionate with class. So, upper class A's approve at the highest rates and approval decreases with class. A second topic we need to explore is my Conceptual Incarceration Theory. This theory looks at the 13th Amendment and I contend that inherent within the wording of the 13Th Amendment, the AA is reinslaved upon incarceration. Thus, the reason why black life is devalued--we are not considered human. Thus, Garner etc., could easily be killed. Lance and I look forward to your presence and participation in the sharing of my findings. See you there! Dr. Vibert Muhammad breaks down and exposes the parallels between the American so called revolutionaries actions to pick up arms against the British to the present time when it appears that Black people in America have no other choice but to follow history to find justice for themselves. It's funny how the recent incident involving Ismaaiyl Brinsley might be the turning point in the psyche of those who have taken so much injustice not only in society with law enforcement but also in a judicial system that seems to refuse to prosecute those who kill us at will while unarmed in cold blood.

Love him or hate him, Sarge is a man who fully commits to whatever he believes in yet respects your right to disagree. Even if you are rubbed the wrong way by his logic, he is still the man that you want by your side if you're fighting a common enemy. That being said, the conversation that I had with him on this pleasant winter night was no less an intense affair, as a matter of fact, if there was any snowfall within the sound of his voice, surely it would have melted from the intensity of his words. Tonight ol' Sarge meant business and he wasn't about to let the masses sway him from what he felt was the undisputed TRUTH! While we started speaking on the corrosion of the family unit in the Black community and touched on the sanctity and benefits of marriage, it wasn't too long before Sarge kicked into full gear after I asked him about his feelings on the Ferguson Missouri situation with Officer Darren Wilson and Mike Brown. What transpired in his reaction was nothing short of a force of nature as he aggressively explained why Officer Darren Wilson was 100% correct in his shooting and killing Mike Brown the way that he did. Sarge also challenged anyone who feels any different to indulge him with the facts and not emotion as he welcomes a thorough debate with anyone who is willing to sit down with him to convince him otherwise. Of course at this point I felt like Don King promoting a potential mega million dollar boxing match, but since the debate is not about money, it would be a spectacle to see Sarge in the heat of a verbal battle nonetheless!

http://www.LanceScurv.com/ - This is an audio rant that flowed through connecting the dots on why Black women are referred to as Booty. While many will scoff at the idea that there might be a reason behind all of this, those who are open to embrace what I had to share just might walk away from this offering with a deeper perspective on why that particular name possesses many revealing implications that are truly a gauge for where we stand as a people. The first few minutes of my "chat" goes off into another issue that is worth listening to as a precursor to my words on the initial topic. As always, I welcome the opportunity to hear your opinion on this and I truly desire for us to always go deep into the meaning behind the facade in order to decode what is happening in our world to prepare ourselves for what is to happen next. With so many revealing tragedies happening all around us, many are waking up at an alarming rate to take charge of our collective realities to make a difference. We've got to understand that their are phrases and words used on us as a people that have a psychological effect here on this plane as well as to usurp our naturally gifted power on all other levels unseen. We are not a defeated people but they certainly want us to believe that! We have got to know that in our unity lies their defeat and as long as our enemy continues to seduce us with his physical, mental and spiritual poisons, we will always remain a people shackled and limited to manifest the greatness that God Almighty Himself has planted deep inside of us to change the WORLD! Please leave your viewpoints and perspectives on this rant in the comment area below. Thanks again and God bless you! Peace, Righteous Love & Revolution Always, Your Brother, LanceScurv
Michael Brown is dead and nothing will bring him back. Amerikkkan History is filled with countless murders of us as though we are animals and nothing has changed in the present day! Instance after instance has our Black men young and old gunned down senselessly while we are asked in the aftermath by the so called authorities to "Show Tolerance, Mutual Respect & Restraint", but if these attributes were executed by those who are deemed to be law enforcement then we wouldn't find ourselves in these situations where justice never seems to be served and the pain and frustrations grow in our hearts. The question that we all must ask ourselves is what must we do to prevent this from happening again. What can we do to alter the overall system that doesn't seem to work in our best interests at all. What is it that we must do personally to counter a system that seems to be bloodthirsty for Black blood by any means necessary. It's obvious that race is a major factor in this stolen country and the sickness of racism in those who oppress the darker people of the world appears to be getting worse while we must deal with their dysfunctional satanic thinking in the worst possible way. Unfortunately, the Darren Wilson Ferguson Missouri Verdict has once again exposed the underlying tensions and racial divide that are festering below the surface of our strained politically correct facade of Colgate smiles....... This discussion will be uncensored and uncut and I welcome ALL to call in to express their opinions no matter what side of the fence you find yourself standing. This is a live show so do not hesitate to call in!
