Out Now with Aaron and Abe

This week’s episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe is another Out Now first! Not only are Aaron and Abe in the same location, they are joined by two friends in the same room! Matt Blane and Ken Noffsinger join the guys to discuss Carrie, all within the same room! The energy is as high as ever (with a special cameo from Markus Robinson, discussing Escape Plan)! Abe and Aaron are normally happy reviewing movies or providing commentaries, but here is a new kind of bonus episode: a legitimate film interview with filmmakers. Ben Peyser and Scott Rutherford are the directing duo behind the new film Ghost Team One, which will be released on October 11th theatrically and On Demand (find out how to see it HERE), and they were kind of enough to join Aaron and Abe for an exclusive interview about the making of the film from its inception up to its release. It helps that Ben and Scott were game to have fun with Aaron and Abe, while also providing some actual insight into the filmmaking process. Basically, everyone tried to have a good time, while providing some neat facts about a new movie.

This week’s episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe covers the disaster-filled romp through space that is the film Gravity. Aaron and Abe are joined by Scott Mendelson and Jordan Grout to discuss this intense film from director Alfonso Cuaron. Abe and Aaron are joined by Mark Hobin and Markus Robinson to find out whether or not Hugh Jackman rage and Jake Gyllenhaal blinking are enough to rescue two little girls. This week’s episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe finds the gang opening up the book and seeing which way this new chapter of Insidious takes them. Insidious Chapter 2 is the review of the week and Abe and Aaron are joined by Jimmy O and Jason Coleman to discuss it. Aaron and Abe are joined by guest Brandon Peters to discuss Vin Diesel’s passion project, Riddick. Plenty of Diesel, misogyny, and penis monsters were found in the movie and hopefully this podcast delivers on some of that as well. Summer Movie Season has ended! It’s time for another Bonus Round with Aaron and Abe. This special episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe has been one to anticipate all summer long. Aaron, Abe, and guests Mark Hobin, Maxwell Haddad, and Jordan Grout have all come to find out who won. This is the 2nd Annual Top Summer Movies Gamble Results show, where everyone will learn what the top ten biggest films of the summer were (in regards to domestic box office) and who was closest in their predictions. Each participant created their own list (and added a few dark horses as well) and this podcast goes over the scoring process and what went down. Additionally, the guys discuss their favorites, least favorites, disappointments, and surprises from this past summer as well.

This week’s episode of Out Now with Aaron and Abe is headed to the bay area. They guys are here to talk about Woody Allen’s venture to San Franciso, in his film Blue Jasmine. Adam Gentry joins on this week’s episode and he is happy to dive right in as well. Aaron is joined by guests Brandon Peters and Jim Dietz to discuss the film Pitch Black, the first film to kick off Vin Diesel’s sci-fi franchise. Plenty of fun to be had in this one, as the gang attempts to provide plenty of fun insight, but tends to get stuck on tangents that are just as entertaining. As always, feel free to synch up the movie with our recorded commentary or give it a listen on its own, the guys rarely stop talking, as they may not be able to see in the dark, but they can certainly talk in the dark, during a movie.
