 Feeding of the 5000 / John 6:1-15 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

The feeding of the 5000 is the only miracle recorded in all four Gospel accounts, and Jesus does something pretty fantastic in this passage. Not only does He give the people food that physically feeds and nourishes them, He also uses this sign to call them to something truly satisfying and soul-fulfilling, and that is to the Bread of Life, Jesus Himself.  Healing at the Pool of Bethesda / John 5:1-9 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

In a world full of sin and suffering, it’s not difficult to get lost amid the voices competing for your indulgence. But they don’t satisfy, and they never will. For some of us, the tendency is to get lost in trying to attain some form of earthly perfection, believing that our acceptance by God and His church is to be found in our performance. But justification before God and acceptance within the church isn’t based upon your performance; it’s based upon a person, Jesus. And for the person seeking satisfaction or to the person seeking sinless perfection, Jesus is the ultimate remedy and rest. [Video File] [Audio File]

Healing of the Official's Son / John 4:43-54 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

The second miracle Jesus performed was the healing of a royal official's son from a would-be fatal illness. John recorded this event, where Jesus spoke a word in Cana and the boy was instantly healed 20 miles away in Capernaum. This sign was meant to intentionally and progressively lead them and us to a deeper belief and trust in who He is as the Savior of the world. [Video File] [Audio File]

Water to Wine / John 2:1-11 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

The first miracle Jesus performed was at a wedding in Cana. John recorded this event where Jesus turned water into wine as a sign of who He was: someone who would bring joy and abundant life to all who would believe and put their faith in Him. [Video File] [Audio File]

 The Next Generation / 2 Kings 18:3-20:19 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Hezekiah failed to pass the baton from generation to generation of Israelites, and we learn the importance of not dropping the same baton in our context. Join us as Brad sits down with Jeremy Tullis (Kids Director), Nic Ferguson (Students Director), and Mark Snee (College Director) to discuss investing in the next generation.  Kingdom Generosity / Luke 12:13-34 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

God is a generous God and we are made in His image. Nothing we have belongs to us. He owns everything and entrusts us with good things so we may be even more generous and give them away to others. [Video File] [Audio File]

 Kingdom Promise / Haggai 2:20-23 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

In this fourth and final message from Haggai, Zerubbabel receives a very personal word from the Lord, encouraging him with the news that a day is coming when God's Messianic King will overthrow the kingdoms of the world and establish His reign forever – and Zerubbabel will be used in a mighty way to bring it about. This is incredible encouragement for a guy who thought the Lord might be done with him and his work may stand for nothing. We'll examine the prophecy described by Haggai and learn how the hope given to Zerubbabel, concerning a returning and triumphant Messianic King, is the same hope for us. [Video File] [Audio File]

 Kingdom Purity / Haggai 2:10-19 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

As the people of God once again got back to work on rebuilding the temple, a critical error had crept in unnoticed: the people slowly began to feel that because they were working on something holy, it made them holy and entitled them to God's blessing. So for a third time God sends in His prophet Haggai to correct their theological misunderstanding and reorient them toward a proper view of where God's righteousness truly comes from. In this message, we will see how this same misunderstanding can affect us, and how the gospel liberates us from the traps of legalism and works-based righteousness, moving us forward in grace-fueled obedience to God's kingdom purposes.  Kingdom Perspective / Haggai 2:1-9 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Only three weeks after God's people had returned to work on the temple, another enemy attacked them and halted their progress of rebuilding, only this time the enemy wasn't an external one, but an internal one: discouragement. Convinced that the present work God called them to would never be as good as the one they had seen in the past, the people grew weary and quit. So for a second time, the prophet Haggai is called in by God to bring a much-needed message of encouragement that would help God's people find hope and return to work. In this message, we'll look at how discouragement plays out in our own lives and learn about the encouragement the Lord has for us that will help us overcome and return to the kingdom work He has called us to do.  Kingdom Priority / Haggai 1:1-15 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

After 50 years of captivity under Babylonian control, the Israelites were rescued and released by God to go back to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple of God so His glory might be reestablished among the nations. Then persecution set in, and they quit to begin focusing on their own houses. In this message, we'll learn about the priority of God's kingdom work in our lives and the rescuing grace of Jesus to set us free for something bigger than ourselves. [Video File] [Audio File]

 A Song of Praise / Exodus 15:1-21 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Chapter 15 of Exodus is a song of praise and celebration. God has shown the Israelites His incredible power and who He is. He is their Lord, their redeemer and faithful, almighty, sovereign God who delivered His people from Egypt. As the people look back on what God did for them, their view of Him rises. They see how big and amazing their Lord is, and their response is to worship Him. [Video File] [Audio File]

He Sets Us Free / Exodus 12:33-14:31 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Through a substituted sacrifice (the shed blood of the lamb), God saved and redeemed His people. But as we approach what is arguably the most climactic event of the entire Old Testament (the crossing of the Red Sea), we discover that even though Israel has been freed from one kind of bondage, they still need to be freed from another. In this text there are three primary things God does for His people after He saves them: He sets them apart, He gives them direction, and He sets them free. It's in these three things that we'll see not only what God did for Israel 3500 years ago, but what He continually does for us through Jesus Christ today. [Video File] [Audio File]

Grace Before Judgment / Exodus 7:1-10:29 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Over and over in this passage, God encouraged Pharaoh to repent, and each time he refused, bringing decimation to all of Egypt. May we learn the lessons of Pharaoh without paying the price he did. Let’s not harden our hearts and reject God’s grace. Rather, may we respond to the gospel and the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for us on the cross as we turn toward Him. [Video File] [Audio File]
