Summary: Join Mai Vu and a handful of provocateurs to have a “No Holding Back” conversation about: Sex, Lies, and Consciousness. Eavesdrop on interviews and intimate conversations with an international cadre of regular folks who are letting us peek into the real deal on their sex lives. We’ll cover the spectrum from relationships and desires to limitations and secrets. Together, we’ll explore the ways that LIES have trapped us or, perhaps, served us. Explore how Sex and Consciousness are forever entwined in this raw, edgy foray into the subject we all whisper about---sssSEX. Mai is a champion of sexual freedom and consciousness. She believes that through having good, clean, open conversations about our relationship to our sex, will we be able to free ourselves for our misconceptions and lies about how we do sex and relationships. She has been an executive coach for 15 years, has trained over 1000 coaches, and has personally broke through at least 15% of her own lies and confusions around her own sex and sexuality. Mai is now focussing on helping successful people reinevent themselves, when their whole life fell apart, and their soul is wanting them to have more: Right relationships, MEANINGful work, and much better SEX.
A mid-life relationship with kids, work, bills to pay, long distance living arrangement, miscommunications, all plays havoc on the relationship connections and our sex drive. How do we overcome this? My friend Vanessa, of Vanessa and Her Many Moons, is sharing her latest encounter with her husband and the trouble with finding connection to each other. You can find all the shows archived and blogged on the SLC website
Guaranteed to be a powerful conversation. My BRAVE friend Heidi will be sharing with us her journey of abusing drugs and alcohol to relax into sex. There has been so much pain and also so many discoveries. This show is especially important for parents of pre-teens and teen-agers to listen to. Our ignorance, shame, resistance and inability to support our children around their sexuality is a direct link to this drinking and abusing their body. If you have your own story to tell please go to the SLC website and post in this show blog. I woul dlove to hear from you.
What does sexyness really look like when we get older, Everything goes South? How do us women redefine sexyness vs letting the media and our unconsciousness rob us of our joy, life, and image of ourselves. I am talking with Barbara Muser, author of Sexy after Cancer and Betty Louise, radio host and coach We'll talk about being sexy after cancer, with rheumatoid arthritis, incontinence and everything else sexy that life throws at us. for more fun stuff from Sex LIes and Consciousness like us on our page.
Your sex life seems to be non-existent. Or just another obligation to tick off of your never ending to-do list. And you have, what seems to you, the perfect excuses: "I'll get interested in sex again when I lose some weight." "I'd be more interested in sex if my partner would romance me." "Maybe we'd have more sex if he would get in shape." "I'd be more interested in sex if I didn't have so much to do." "Well, we'll have more sex when we take that vacation to Paris." So, how do we re-ignite that sexual desire within ourselves? How do we begin to stop making excuses for lack of desire? How do we make sex a priority? The secret? It starts with LOVE and Peace, baby! Debra Smouse will be filling in for Mai Vu this week with her guest, Blaze Lazarony. Join us for frank and open discussion on the SLC website.
This is going to be epic. We are continuing our dialogue on "Why Women want to be Ravished" that was started on the SLC YouTube Channel, via google+ Hangout. This time the men have their say. What's their perspective? What does it take to ravish a woman? We women want to know so that we can help create our bedroom environment into a place where more ravishing will take place. I will be talking with my friend Matthew Sloane, author of the latest Elephant Journal article: You Can't Inspire a Man When You Use the Same Language That Took Away His Inspiration

A mature relationship is always much more complex than the fairy tale ending of "...and they live happily ever after" Debra and Karen are going to share with us their breaking apart journey, the back and forth, the confusion, the pain, doubt, etc.... When the "chicks" leave the nest, how do we re-ignite that sexual desire with our partner? You don't want a divorce, but you want to sex-pansion - to move beyond that occasional vanilla sex and to hot monogamy. Join us for frank and open discussion on Sex, Lies and Consciousness.
Ooh WE are going to address two topics in one show. First up Life Coach & deep thinker Eric Rozell and I will be chatting about boundaries: What's yours? What's mine? Who cares? What boundaries? Emotional-Physical-Social-Spiritual-and so much more. No wonder relationships are so hard and physical contacts (i can't say the three letter word or else the description crashes) are so difficult and confusing. The second half of the show, I have my single 30 something friend from the Middle East talking about her views on marriage or not, and she seems to be the sanest single woman i have met.
The fabulous and sexy Ann Betz is back. This time with scientific data and report on what happens to our brain when we encounter the journey of our sexuality and relationship. We think it is about chemistry, luck, fate, soulmate. But it is much more scientific and "boring" when two people get together. Or is it?
Back by popular demand, Gregory the Healer returns and together he and I will dissect our relationship to our sexuality and our power. Again this is a great show to call in if you have power issues: being too much of a doormat, can't let anyone in close, or you experience/d abuse in your private life.
Susan Seybert is back. We are talking about her relationship with her living lover. What happens when the young lover has to take out the garbage and putting his dirty laundry away. We are tackling that million dollar question: how do i keep my relationship alive and passionate?
This conversation was inspired by my reactions to the movie "Act Like a Woman, Think Like a Man" from Steve Harvey's book of the same title. What happens AFTER we get him or her to commit to us for life? Why are we so attached to finding the ONE soulmate? What if there are more than one soulmates out there. What do we do when there is a detour in our perfect plan? The fabulous Cherie Beck of www.cherie-beck.com will be joining me in this conversation. Gregory the Healer will be our guest. Greg is an intuitive healer who will read you and relay what's going on in your emotional and spiritual bodies. If you have seen crazy patterns that you have in relationships, this show is for you. I have worked with many healers, GREGORYJOSEPH is the BEST. He will help you release and undo crazy patterns. This is THE show to call in.
The Middle East is such a HOT region (in more ways than one). It's so mysterious to me. It's one of the most sensual region in the world, yet there are so many veils. I want to pull back the veils to know how the Middle East handles their Sexuality, their lies, and what consciousness can we learn from that.
