Adam and Drew start off speaking about Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti's state of the city speech and the comments that he made regarding the city's homeless population and his somewhat nonexistent actions to backup his words. Later on the guys are joined by renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson and they discuss what potential solutions exist for the human inflicted climate change that everyone agrees the earth is experiencing. To finish things off Adam and Dr. Drew express their thoughts on appreciation of achievement and how that manifests itself using cars as a metaphor.

Drew opens the show vexed by someone who was asking him about 'Big Pharma' and he attempts to have Adam help him understand what exactly he is able to do as a healthcare professional when someone has such feelings. They then review the breaking news (as we record) that the CDC has advised that fully vaccinated people do not need masks in indoor or outdoor settings save for some rare exceptions. They also review a clip of Adam on 'The Doctors' in late 2020 with some views that while controversial at the time, have aged very well.

Adam and Drew open up the show with Dr. Drew exceptionally fired up about the recent situation with Ben Stiller needing to have his prostate out due to cancer and the ridiculous reaction that Drew believes Stiller has been getting on social media with dangerous medical advice. The guys then turn to the phones and speak to a caller who has a severely alcoholic mother that he is considering excluding from his coming child's life.

Later they discuss how tuned out people have become and examine some comments made about Adam by another radio host.

Adam and Drew open today's episode of The Adam and Drew showing talking about celebrities who use external manifestations to hide something about their personal life that they don't want the public to know about. The conversation later turns to the tragic passing of Tom Petty and how opiates played a role in his death. After turning to the phones, a call about Drew's shoulder pain inspires Adam to reimagine the lyrics of a Jimmy Dean Classic.

They also discuss vaudeville and Pagliacci leading to a conversation about music pitting Smokey Robinson's 'Tears of a Clown' against Prince's 'Erotic City' with a very animated Adam giving his thoughts. Drew later circles back to his studies of performers and points out his astonishment that many, if not most of those who succeeded came from affluent backgrounds. They also discuss how that phenomenon translates to very little today with the notable exception of Formula 1 racing.
