Listen on iTUNES             GRAND-AM comes to Circuit of The Americas in Austin.  We were live from COTA for two hours in the morning and another hour right after the incredible down to the wire Daytona Prototype race finished up. Our guests include: Scott Pruett came on the show before the race and talked about qualifying and his impressions of Circuit of The Americas. We also interviewed country music legend Reba McEntire and her son Shelby Blackstock, driver in the Continental Tire series and also the Pro Mazda Championship series where he scored a podium in Austin with a 3rd place finish. We also had Brenden Hartley in the studio a few minutes before his incredible day in the Rolex Series where he led the race until only 14 minutes left when contact with a GT car took them out of the race. Boris Said joined us before the race and his disappointing day when his Corvette had suspension trouble while running second in the GT class and finished 13th. Pro Mazda Championship race 1 winner Diego Ferreira joined us and talked about his race and his future aspirations. Jade Buford Chad McCumbee

He spent over 30 years with McLaren International and 7 years as a commentator on TVNZ ONE Sport and Radio Sport where he is currently co-host of the 'On Track - Off Track' weekly radio show. He is also a trustee of the Motor sport New Zealand Scholarship Trust, a committee member of the Bruce McLaren Trust, ambassador for the Toyota Racing Series and director of two sports marketing companies. In 2006 Bob was awarded the 'Motor Sport New Zealand Personality of the Year Award' and in 2007, the 'Motor Trades Association Award for Contribution to Industry'. He has also authored a successful book about life in Formula 1.
