In this podcast we talk to one of the most intriguing people we've interviewed on our show; a former police officer and now psychic medium, Chuck Bergman. Chuck has been featured on the A&E show, Psychic Search. Chuck is a retired Salem MA Police Officer. As a third generation medium, he recalls being able to communicate with the other side since the age of six and has spent many years in developmental circles learning meditation techniques that have helped to fine tune his gifts. He has completed classes in psychic mediumship, advanced mediumship and Reiki. He just finished his second book which chronicles his life called, The Psychic Cop. Today we bring you an episode that is very familiar and personal to us in some sense as we started our own ghost hunting group back in 2003, called GPIG (Goshen Paranormal Investigations Group). Our time spent creating and diving into our own group fueled a deep interest in the paranormal as we carried out our own investigations! Today we bring you the first part of our two part Mediumship series. In this episode, we interviewed the gracious and warm-hearted, Beth Berry. Beth is a psychic-medium with 10 years experience. I am clairvoyant, clairaudient and clairsentient (Sees, hears and senses). With my belief in God, I use my psychic medium gifts to help others heal physically and emotionally. My psychic and medium abilities were “awakened” after the sudden death of my brother Brian. I was 12 years older than Brian so I had a maternal connection to him. Because of the traumatic experience of losing Brian, I understand and empathize with others’ grief. With the month of Halloween arriving soon, we thought we’d celebrate all things spooky, and showcase our past guests each week from our podcast episodes for all our new followers! Our first episode featured an interview with Ali from the haunted Hannah House in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Hannah House is known as one of the most haunted places in Indiana, but is there any truth behind these claims? Bruno, Anthony, and our guest dive into the lush history and discuss many paranormal experiences that people have had throughout the years at this compelling location. The most famous story is this one, quoted from The Hannah House’s official website: On one tragic night, a group of slaves, cramped into a dark dirt-floored cellar, sit waiting for the right time to leave their hiding spot in the Hannah House, and head for the freedom of Canada. One of them unknowingly tips over an oil lamp, instantly igniting a fire that traps them there; many to be killed by smoke inhalation and burns within only a few minutes. The dead are buried in the very cellar that claimed their lives, in an attempt to cover up any trace of this incident as quickly as possible… This story is not only true, it happened in this very house. And ever since then, the cellar of the Hannah House has been a known area for paranormal activity. Spectral slaves have been witnessed by several people, hiding in the shadows, moans and voices have been heard, and cold spots have been felt. It seems that some of the slaves killed on that night may have stayed around, still hiding in the safety of the basement that protected them in life. But what’s the whole story?
